Life, Obama, and the Democratic Universe

Have you ever had one of those days where you are positive your head is spinning 399 degrees and you can’t get it out of the brick wall?  I think that fully explains my day.   I had to do the parental doctor thing today in Las Cruces, which included a 2 hour wait at one of them.  I did a quick shop-through of Barnes and Noble, but still had a good 90 minutes to wait.  It was hot (finally).  I was tired.  And – there were way too man “Obama” stickers – everywhere.

By the end of the day, carting through Albertsons during “rush” hour, I was going nuts.  I was disgusted with myself for not wearing a Palin button.

An email from a friend helped me put things into perspective.  Don’t be depressed about what the Dems have done, get mad, then get ready to get even.

So, I’m thinking about getting even.

We can be depressed, or we can start fighting, do the grass-roots GOP thing, and find good candidates to take out anyone who voted for the porkulious package on Friday.

I don’t know if I am as angry at Obama, who is basically an idiot, as I am the MSM and Democrats who are more interested in their own personal agenda of being re-elected than they are actually helping the country.

The MSM is as much to blame for this mess as is The One (anointed), maybe more.  The did it.  They promoted him, created him, and are now propping him up as some sort of paper-mache god.

There is all of this talk about the Fairness Doctrine, but there is nothing fair about the way the media elected their anointed one.  There is nothing fair about the way they prop him up, and there is nothing fair about the way they pander to him.

Today, while I was thinking about ramming Obama voters with my shopping cart, I heard a local snip of news, about the way our two Democratic Senators and 2nd District Congressdolt made out like bandits, bringing home many slices of bacon for the state and district. The more I thought about it, the more I wanted to pick fights with Obamaworshippers.

I behaved myself.

This is what we must fight.

We wallow around, complaining about not having a replacement for Ronald Reagan, and not having leaders.  Whose fault is that – OURS!  If we want leaders, we must become the leaders.  If we can’t find “suckers” qualified candidates to run against entrenched Democrats, then we do it ourselves.   A few of us will get lucky.

The hand-wringing must end.

The self-pity must end.

Somehow I don’t think John Adams sat around wringing his hands and crying woe is me when the Brits marched on Boston.

Cousin Sam threw the tea in the water.

A relative of mine wrote “Give me liberty or give me death”.

Another fought at Bunker Hill.

Another proposed Independence!

No more self pity, I’m going to fight back.

I’ve had it with corruption, lies, and pandering.

Are you with me?

I am not going to sit around and wait for the 2nd coming of Ronald Reagan to rescue me.  I’m going to get out there and fight for my country.
