There are things in life I just don’t understand. I will leave off the list of scientific and mathematical theories that plague me to no end. Then there are philosophical commentaries about life, death, and the universe. I just don’t comprehend the logic of the designated hitter. But currently the one thing in life bothering me the most is why the heck Republicans in the House and Senate aren’t fighting back against The One (incompetent).
Perhaps it is all about form and propriety, manners, and required behavior once one joins the old boys club and I am but a frail pathetic female whose emotional stability hangs by a single thread on the best days. It could be all about ‘the way things are done’, but I’ve never been one to play by the rules during the best of times. It’s a frustrated chick thing.
Consequently, I’m just not sure what is preventing Republicans in the House and Senate from doing the old 99 Thesis Thing and making a general and literal nuisance of themselves until the fawning press that considered Obama the second coming of the second coming, is forced to cover the circus.
I am known to be a patient person, even when it comes to waiting for that incredible $795 Cole Haan handbag to be marked down to $159. I have been known to wait until Bloomingdales puts those adorable Juicy Couture flats on sale for “just” $199 instead of $250. I waited a year and a half for the final edits of a book to reach me, then waited another six months for the publisher to get around to finally printing the darn thing. But – this current situation in Washington is trying my patience.
What is wrong with our good Republicans going out on the Capitol steps every time The One (incompetent) & his willing minions do something that is against what the GOP believes is good for the nation?
Are Republicans so timid and so concerned that their chosen ideas of lower taxes, less spending, less government interference, and a strong military so alien to the nation that they are afraid these ideals will be rejected by the American public over-awed by the glowing green light emanating from the White House?
I just can’t help but think that one of the ways to start butting heads with the Dems and to start showing just what WE believe is to simply shout it out. Begin holding press conferences on the steps of the Capitol and stand up for what we believe.
Even Dems know half the you know what the Dems and the Obama Administration are proposing are Unconstitutional. Are Republicans so ashamed of what they believe and so ashamed of the Constitution that they are just going to sit back and allow this stuff to continue, unopposed?
I would like to think if I were in either the House or the Senate, I would have the courage to buck the system and go take the battle to the American people – right there from the steps of the Capitol.
When is someone going to begin screaming that what Obama is doing violates the very bedrock of our Republic?
It’s like the lines from 1776. Is anybody there? Does anybody care?

I think I’d also like to see a return to the 1980 thesis. Jimmy Carter made a wreck of the economy using very similar tactics to what Obama is doing now. Obama is so arrogant, that He seems to think that because He is in charge, that things will be different from 1978. He will get away with this for a while because the media worships at his altar.
