What Is the Big Deal About Obama’s Stupid Speech?

The Pink Flamingo has held off on the stupid Obama Cairo speech to see what would come of it.  Well, it has been a futile exercise in watching the pandering left and the pandering right pander the great panderer.

His “history” comes directly from Wikipedia.

I wish I could truly say what I think about Obama, but I can’t.  The pandering is remarkable to behold.

The world was waxing poetic about Barack Obama’s speech, where he basically sells out Israel, disses the US, and makes an ass Democrat of himself.  The man has some serious problems if he thinks that Islam is better than the US.  If Jimmy Carter praises his Middle East policy, then we all know it is a disaster waiting to happen and Israel is going to get screwed.

He so blew his Islamic history.  More.

The speech was terrible.

Once upon a time there was a “fairy tale” about a narcissistic emperor who wanted the most perfect costume anyone had ever worn.  He was a close horse.  Michael Savage does the tale well.

Michael Savage

When Obama quoted from the Koran, he was not truthful.  Mladen Andrijasevich from the American Thinker:

“...I really find it odd that neither President Obama nor any of his advisors did not realize that the meaning of verse 5:32 is not clear until it is quoted together with verse 5:33 which follows it:

This is the passage and the next verse:

YUSUFALI: On that account: We ordained for the Children of Israel that if any one slew a person – unless it be for murder or for spreading mischief in the land – it would be as if he slew the whole people: and if any one saved a life, it would be as if he saved the life of the whole people. Then although there came to them Our messengers with clear signs, yet, even after that, many of them continued to commit excesses in the land

YUSUFALI: The punishment of those who wage war against Allah and His Messenger, and strive with might and main for mischief through the land is: execution, or crucifixion, or the cutting off of hands and feet from opposite sides, or exile from the land: that is their disgrace in this world, and a heavy punishment is theirs in the Hereafter;

Like Medved said, this was a horrible speech.  During the speech he made the little comment that he wanted to ease up on the scrutany of all those adorable little Muslim charities that fund terror.

“…Rules on charitable giving have made it harder for Muslims to fulfill their religious obligation. That’s why I’m committed to working with American Muslims to ensure that they can fulfill zakat,” said Obama, referring to the Muslim obligation to be charitable….”
