Please Tell Michelle Antoinette You Don’t Wear a Burka to the Vatican!

When I saw this photo on Drudge my thought was, Michelle Antoinette FINALLY has her fashion act together.  FYI – from the “hand” placed on her rear, it’s obvious someone is going to do some fancy foot work to stay out of the Presidential dog house after that rear view of the little Italian number.

This is the best photo I’ve seen of Michelle Antoinette.  The hair looks great pinned up with the Audrey Hepburn glasses.  She needed a wide brimmed straw hat to really punch it, but for once she had her act together – and it showed!

Then THIS happened:

Michelle Antoinette, no matter how much she spends, and believe me, she spends, cannot get her fashion act together.  I’m beginning to think it’s all that pandering to the “simple” folk and wearing “off the rack” when she’s more a high end boutique high spender.  If you go back to the early Senate days, the woman is very well put together.  She has great fashion sense for herself, but when pandering to the lowest common denominator, Michelle Antoinette is a walking fashion disaster.

It is becoming more and more obvious the Obama Administration has some protocol problems.  Michelle Antoinette is either dressed up like someone in a modified burka or a nun.  Compare this to Laura Bush.  Michelle looks like she is in full mourning or something.  Granted, it is impossible to be fashionable when dealing with the Vatican where women are still second class citizens, ergo I am an Episcopalian.  We may screw things up a lot, but women are not given second class status!

  1. Hey, don’t blame us low-end clothing wearers. I have never seen anyone put together the bizarre combos that First “Lady” Michelle Antoinette invents. She has no taste and that woman who runs the little dress shop in Chicago is apparently no longer advising her as she did during the Senate days.

I just saw a photo of MO wearing what looked to be a belted sweatshirt and a dust-bunny as a lapel pin. We poor folk have better taste that than even if we can’t sport an $875 clutch purse.
