The Pink Flamingo would love to do a huge “I told you so” right about now, pointing out the problems associated with the Minutemen, the anti-immigration folks, and an extremely unsavory element associated with them, but after two people were murdered, one of them being a small child, the epitaph is hollow.
The Sierra Vista Herald has learned that Glenn Spencer, of the American Border Patrol, who lives on a compound outside of Sierra Vista, was subjected to a property search when law enforcement was searching for Shawna Forde, who was taken into custody on June 11 following the double murder of Raul Flores and his 9 year old daughter Brisenia.
Along with Forde, Jason Bush and Albert Gaxiola were both arrested and charged with two counts of first degree murder. All three were leading minutemen, et. al, activists. At one time Forde stayed in one of Spencer’s guest trailers, but was not associated with his American Border Patrol.
Forde has a leading roll in the Minutemen American Defense, and was likely associated with Spencer professionally. She was allegedly working with the two other alleged first degree murderers working with drug dealers to raise funds to support her Minutemen American Defense, which is not associated with the Minuteman Civil Defense Corps nor Spenser’s organization.
Spencer lives a rather strange existance, hiding out on a compound near the Mexican border. Several years ago The Pink Flamingo, while working with a documentary crew, discovered that Spencer’s business address is nothing but a mail drop at a UPS store next to Safeway in Sierra Vista.
