To quote C3PO “We’re doomed.”

You know the far right has gone too far when they turn on Newt Gingrich.

On O’Reilly Thursday night, Laura Ingraham did nothing but complain about Obama and his administration and Dems in general.  She talked about how they set out to destroy the reputation of those they oppose.  They lie, they denigrate, and will do just about anything to ruin a person’s reputation.   She was quite upset about it.  In her next breath she started complaining about the likes of John McCain, Lindsey Graham, and RINOS who were out to doom the conservative movement.  She did nothing but denigrate  and lie about Lindsey.

In other words, it is okay to destroy a “RINO” if you are a pure conservative who is trying to keep the party pure.  Protecting the country doesn’t matter as much as purity and ideology.  If this is what conservatives are up to, then they don’t give a damn about the fate of the country, only their personal agenda.

I gather Laura Ingraham, Michelle Malkin, Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Glenn Beck, etc. are only interested in their “pure” agenda, and aren’t interested in recapturing the House and Senate from the Dems.  If they did, they would use some rational thinking and realize a majority is more important than purity. Only FOOLS demand purity.

Newt Gingrich puts it best:

“...The choice in New York is a practical one: We can split the conservative vote and guarantee the election of a Democrat in a Republican seat in a substantial loss of opportunity. Or we can find a way to elect someone who has committed to vote for the Republican leader, has committed to vote against all tax increases, has committed to vote against cap-and-trade, and is a strong ally of the NRA.

In order to stop President Obama and the Democrats in Congress, I would rather see Christie win in New Jersey, Bob McDonnell win in Virginia, and have the Republican, Dede Scozzafava, win the special election in NY-23 so that election night in 2009 is a devastating defeat for the Democrats.

My number one interest in the 2009 elections is to build a Republican majority. If your interest is taking power back from the Left, and your interest is winning the necessary elections, then there are times when you have to put together a coalition that has disagreement within it.

We have to decide which business we are in. If we are in the business about feeling good about ourselves while our country gets crushed then I probably made the wrong decision….”

The far right is nothing but a band of loud-mouth bullies who are going to ruin our chances in 2010.  I have never been so depressed about the condition of our country as I am while writing this post.  Listening to Laura Ingraham on O’Reilly Thursday evening, I realized that people like Ingraham don’t give a damn about the United States.  They don’t care about what happens to our country.  They are only interested in promoting their hard-line, irrational demands

Michelle Malkin and a few other conservatives are demanding that Dede Scozzafava withdraw from the NY-23 race.  Now I have problems with someone who is NOT a Republican holding the GOP hostage with her outrageous demands.

How dare she.

How dare a person who writes for a racist publication like Vdare with highly questionable extremist leanings tell the Republican Party what they are going to do.

How dare the GOP listen to her.

How dare people who claim to be decent honorable people put up with this sort of thing?

Further, Malkin is going after Dede Scozzafava for her relationship with Planned Parenthood.  Perhaps Ms. Malkin should check some of her friends such as Numbers USA, FAIR, and John Tanton. How dare She damn Scozzafava for her associations when Malkin basks in Tanton’s anti-immigration associations.  She ignores Tanton’s long-time association with Planned Parenthood.

I don’t know about you, but I am sick and tired of the likes of Michelle Malkin, Robert Stacy McCain, Pat Buchanan and Glenn Beck – NONE OF WHOM are Republicans, telling the GOP what to do.

Furthermore, I am sick and tired of Republicans putting up with it.

Like I told Harold Hutchinson, I would not vote for Sozzafava, but I’m starting to change my mind. I am repulsed and disgusted over the way the woman has been attacked by the right.    I’ve heard rumors that Scozzafava is planning to switch parties if she wins.

That is not the point.

If something is not done to marginalize the likes of the Tea Party People, Malkin, RSM, Beck, and Ingraham we are going to lose the 2010 election to the Democrats.  If we do, once again we an blame the far far far far far, irrational, purist right, for destroying a GOP election.

You know the people.  They hate George W. Bush. They are damning the GOP because it is supporting Scozzafava.

They are basically out to destroy the GOP.  The once “pure” Newt Gingrich is now the enemy.

“...Dr. Paul is correct. What Graham and other establishment hacks are counting on to save them from a rising tide of libertarian sentiment is fragmentation among the movement. They are counting on us dividing ourselves among third parties, racial lines (really? white nationalists? c’mon now), or letting us neuter ourselves by refusing to participate. We must not oblige them! We must make their fears come true! We must take over their parties and oust them utilizing the means they have kept intentionally esoteric for entirely too long….”

Jeri Thompson wrote these terrifying words:

“…Hoffman represents conservatives‘ best chance to send a national message to the Republican Party that they are a force to be reckoned with, and that Hoffman appears to have the energy from the grassroots to pull off a win and help lay the groundwork for a successful 2010 election cycle. As one Hoffman supporter told me yesterday, “The feeling of momentum is palpable. The race is between Doug and the Democrat…we hope Dede won’t be a spoiler for conservatives in this race.”…”

We’re doomed.

If we lose the House and the Senate in 2010 it will be because of Michelle Malkin, Rush Limbaugh, Laura Ingraham, Glenn Beck, Sean Hannity, and the Tea Party Traitors.  Would someone please explain how this is upholding the Party of Reagan.

Let’s be honest here.  If Ronald Reagan were around, he’d turn his back on these people and tell them where to go and how to get there.  If Ronald Reagan were around today, this same bunch would betray him because he would not be pure enough for them.

God Help Us All!

We’re doomed.

Thanks to the far right, I don’t see how America can remain a free country.  All they want is to prove a point and demand purity.

When can we start accusing them of treason?  They are in a position to do far more damage to our country than Barack Obama could ever do.

Ronald Reagan would hang his head in shame.

Yep. You’re a phony. How about some of this venom for the left?

If you were around in ’64 you would have been saying we need to go with Rockefeller because he gives us our best chance to win. Which would have meant no Regan speech, no Reagan ascendency, and God knows what for the country.

No one expects purity. But how much of the contribution $ do you think comes from “moderates” versus “conservatives?” Personally, I’ve started a policy of giving ONLY directly to candidates. NO RINOS for me. Principle before party.

I still have my “If I were 21 I’d vote for Barry” button.

Sorry, but I think we have a serious problem with the very far right.

My real problem with the extreme right – How about the “You’re a phony”…. You don’t know me at all. I would never say you were a phony. I’ve spent my entire life working in the Republican Party. I know what I believe. I don’t mind people saying nasty things about me. That’s fine if it makes you feel better.

I do apologize for that if I’m wrong. But I see you writing lots of vitriolic things about conservatives who have worked very hard to advance conservative ideas: people like Malkin, Beck, Limbaugh, and Levin.

I don’t see you writing that same sort of thing about Keith Olbermann and Rachel Madcow.

The reason is those two liberals aren’t worth even mentioning. They are worthless.

I don’t complain about Mark Levin. If I were POTUS, he would be my 1st pick for SCOTUS. The man is a genius. His voice makes me crazy, but he is a constitutional genius.

Beck is not a conservative. He is a libertarian. They are two completely different things.

I have no tolerance for Malkin.

Yea, I go after conservatives. I want honesty. I want them to be above reproach. I have very high standards and expect them to live up to them.

I surf the web a lot in the hopes that I will find some rational thought and facts, but it seems everytime I click on a link the article is filled with partisan ignorance.

I hope that the people of America will start to learn that it doesn’t matter if you are conservative or liberal. There is a difference between right and wrong and partisan politics should not factor into the equation.

Stop following the masses. Know your own moral beliefs and seek the facts. Neither the liberals or the conservatives are responsible for the mess in which we find ourselves. They are all on the side of money and power and they love the fact that they can easily distract the masses with partisan politics.
