Did you know that the ACU considers Lindsey Graham a “Conservative Stand-out“?
Tuesday morning, The Pink Flamingo’s sister was in a “state”, being short handed at her business. Evidently in a city with double digit unemployment it is very difficult to get anyone “to work”. Her problem started The Pink Flamingo thinking about integrity.
Integrity is telling the truth about someone, even if you don’t like them. The most disgusting case The Pink Flamingo has been following are the lies of the far right as they attempt to destroy Lindsey. They don’t give a damn about the truth, only the lies.
The Pink Flamingo is tired of ranting and raving about third party losers, Losertarians, and the far right. It is a time for purity, a time for lies, and a time lie about anyone who disagrees with you – politically. Take the nasty “bad boys” of South Carolina at FTS, please. They call themselves “Unfair and unbalanced” – which is just about right, considering the way they like to use inuendo, half-truths, and will do just about anything to destroy those they dislike.
So FTS alleges the following with absolutely no sources. FTS is good about this, and is good about setting up misc. Republican elected officials to make trouble for them. The Pink Flamingo smells an Anderson County Rat here!
“...“A chunk of the GOP has always detested him, but in the last month a damn has broken,” said the consultant, who was granted anonymity to discuss the impact of two recent polls that were conducted in South Carolina (one allegedly by Graham’s own advisors). “More Republicans now oppose Sen. Graham than support him. Independents are also deserting him in huge numbers.”…Specific numbers were not provided to FITS, but Graham’s team was supposed to have received its poll results on Wednesday….”
If this innuendo were to be alleged about Sarah Palin, the whole conservative world would be clamoring for the blogger’s head. Unfortunately, there is a far right “hit” out on Lindsey, and some very nasty little big oil folks with former ENRON connections are out to slaughter him because he wants to make us energy independent.
Indeed, FTS describes the Charleston County GOP as “moderate” – and that is a total and complete lie. The Charleston County GOP is controlled by the Tea Party “patriots?” and Ron Paul Bots. The thing is, lies are lies, and the Losertarians in this country are out to destroy the GOP, one Republican at a time. Lindsey just happens to be first on their list.
Nowhere in the FTS’s nasty and snide reporting of Lindsey will you find the following information:
“…Have you heard the radio ads attacking U.S. Sen. Lindsey Graham?… Did you think the ads were sponsored by a taxpayer group? Who’s picking up the tab for the ad campaign? And more importantly, are the ads truthful?… A shadowy, mysterious group called “American Energy Alliance (AEA)” has bought nearly $300,000 worth of ads in South Carolina attacking Graham. We will reveal who’s really behind the ads in a moment. But first, let’s deal with the content.
The ad claims Graham supports federal cap-and-trade legislation. Is that true? The answer is unequivocally “no.”
Graham has made his position clear: He will not support any form of caps on carbon pollution unless the Democrats agree to green-light the expansion of nuclear energy, offshore drilling, clean coal and natural gas as energy alternatives to create new jobs and to end American dependence on foreign oil….Graham is working to end the nation’s dependence on foreign oil. In the process, he has stepped on some big oily toes…”
Now the FTS half-truth bonanza has been picked up by Memorandum. But then, that’s the whole idea, to spread lies and hate and destroy a good man. Jennifer Rubin, who is uaually reliable has picked up FTS’s bunk and is spreading it. It is a recipe that is going to be repeated over and over as the far right and Tea Party “patriots?” who are nothing more than Ron Paul Bots and Losertarian half-wits go after the GOP.
