There are certain conservatives who will do just about anything in order to destroy Republicans who do not meet their personal requirements for conservative pure. Talking heads like Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, and Laura Ingraham are the first who come to mind, but they are not the worst of the lot.
Michelle Malkin appears to enjoy destroying Republicans. She has set her sights on Carly Fiorina, who is not pure enough for Malkin’s tastes. Naturally Michelle Malkin ALWAYS fails to mention that she IS NOT a Republican, but a far right extremist with some rather tawdry associates. Her previous attempts to destroy Lindsey Graham over immigration reform resulted in a nasty feud with Geraldo Rivera. He retained his position with FOX News. She did not. While she appears on a few FOX shows, she is closely aligned with Glenn Beck, which should tell thinking people all they need to know.
Malkin, Beck, etc. are almost single issue extremists. Everything goes back to their restrictive, irrational, and almost racist version of immigration reform. In this they are not their own persons, but follow the anti-immigration puppetmasters who call the shots. They are the ultimate power of life and death in the far right. John McCain opposed their racist version of immigration reform. He must be destroyed. Lindsey Graham opposed their racist version of immigration reform. He must be destroyed. Mike Huckabee opposes their racist version of immigration reform. He must also be destroyed. George W. Bush opposed their racist version of immigration reform. He had to be destroyed.
It is that simple.
This is NOT about the horrible murders in Seattle. The far right is NOT telling the whole story, not telling the truth of what is going on there. This is more about the character assassination of yet another normal, rational Republican by the minions of the Far Right who are more concerned in keeping their own power base than putting a majority GOP back in power. The whole idea is to destroy reasonable Republicans, lying about their real voting record, and keeping the Dems in power. There is no other logical reason for the far right to behave the way they are currently acting.
Oh, FYI – the same, usual suspects did all they could to harm George W. Bush while he was in office.
But, right now, Malkin has a great big target in the form of Mike Huckabee, who has never been pure enough to suit her nor other members of the far right. Huckabee is the 2012 front runner, but says he may not be running. Honestly the man would be smart to keep his day gig which is paying him a lot more than being POTUS ever will. Her post that is aimed at destroying Mike Huckabee is absolutely disgusting. It is some of the nastiest hate I’ve seen to date spilling from her site.
She is ignoring the following information. By ignoring specific information, what she is doing is akin to a lie, character assassination, and is obviously out to destroy Mike Huckabee.
Adam Graham at Race42012 writes the following:

Ed Morrissey, who was once a reliable and logical conservative and is now a Malkin acolyte apes her hatred of Huckabee. He writes:
“...I think Joe nails this. In my opinion, Huckabee would never have signed off on the commutations if he really believed that he was releasing dangerous men. The problem is that his judgment on that was flawed, and Huckabee didn’t take the counsel of wiser men on some of these cases. That goes directly to executive judgment….”
Adam Graham is correct. To blame Mike Huckabee for this is just plain stupid and abjectly nothing but political character assassination. According to the Seattle Times:
“...Maurice Clemmons, the 37-year-old man wanted for questioning in the killing of four Lakewood police officers Sunday morning, has a long criminal record punctuated by violence, erratic behavior and concerns about his mental health. His criminal history includes at least five felony convictions in Arkansas and at least eight felony charges in Washington. That record also stands out for the number of times Clemmons has been released from custody despite questions about the danger he posed….”
Please, I wish Malkin and her acolytes would explain how they are going to hold Mike Huckabee responsible for this and attempt to destroy him the way they have tried to destroy John McCain, Lindsey, and anyone who does not dance to their personal little snake charming mantra? Even Mac’sMind is calling it for Huck.
The following comes from the Pierce County Superior Court records. My question would be why the heck Pearce County let the guy out. This is NOT Mike Huckabee’s problem.
“…In July, Maurice Clemmons was arrested and charged with raping and molesting a 12-year-old female relative in May. The arrest occurred when he was seen in a Pierce County courtroom, attempting to quash warrants from other charges. He was held in the Pierce County Jail until his release last Monday after posting a $150,000 bond. In May, Clemmons was arrested on two counts of third-degree assault and five counts of second-degree malicious mischief stemming from an incident when Pierce County sheriff’s deputies responded to a disturbance report. Clemmons allegedly punched a deputy in the face, while the officers were struggling with two other men. Neighbors said Clemmons also had been throwing rocks through windows and cars, damaging at least five cars and three houses….”
Bob Owens at PJMedia has even more info on Clemmons and the situation in Seattle. It is enough to make Malkin and her little sycophants look like the slobbering far right fools they really are.
“...The shooter fled on foot. At no point did he threaten the other customers or the two employees of the store. Dozens of police units converged upon the scene within minutes of the assault, but by then the cop-killer had escaped. Even directly after the massacre, authorities did not suspect gang activity in the shootings, “because a gang wouldn’t want to draw attention to themselves.”
Officials do not have a motive, but they have not ruled out a copycat killing in what some news outlets are already describing as a war on cops in Washington. Insanity is being hinted at by a family member. Clemmons’ sister says he claimed to have sent letters to the president, and that he expected Obama to confirm him as the living messiah.
His interest in President Obama may also suggest the possibility of a twisted political motivation for the killings. If this turns out to be the case, the shooting will be just the latest politically motivated attack on police officers in Washington state in recent memory….
