Is this a connect the dots or just a perfect storm for the Dems in that health care has been pushed out of the headlines?
Did a second attempt occur on the 27th? Same flight, same nationality?
The Pink Flamingo wants to know just when TSA is going to demand men remove their underwear before boarding a plane. If they really want to crack down on the latest version of getting a bomb on a plane, then they should require the removal of all underwear along with shoes when going through a security check-point. How absurd is this going to get before people do what I do and absolute refuse to fly? The good news is that Napolitano (the former AZ governor who left the state in such an abject mess) says things worked just hunky dory!
Why the heck did it take THREE hours to tell Obama that an incident had occurred? Why is he getting a pass from the media while golfing so darn much? Think about G. H. W. Bush and his vacation. Think about GWB and his time off. Obama works so hard….he needs a break!
Was there a specific reason for the timing? I don’t know about you, but The Pink Flamingo is beginning to think this is also about a spoiled brat monster who wants to stick it to his family and his people. Don’t ever discount the idea that this guy wanted to humiliate his family. The timing of the incident and the timing of the Nigerian ethnic meetings over the weekend is just too precious to deny.

The Pink Flamingo would like to remind readers about an alleged plot in Kenya to assassinate Hillary Clinton, a plot yet to be confirmed or denied. It just makes a person wonder about a few things – how Obama ignored this one too.
It is becoming more and more apparent that this country is suffering from a lack of real leadership. The good news is that John McCain is being vindicated by the hour and looks like a great leader. The bad news, we’re stuck with the most incompetent idiot “leader” in American history.
What kind of an idiot ignores a warning that someone is going to do something really bad? Sure, FDR appears to have ignored warnings that the Japs were going to attack Pearl Harbor, but he was a really good Dem, an icon. Sure it gave birth to an incredible scene for Jim Belushi. Somehow it just reminds me of the world today – and the current leadership in Washington – a “stupid and futile gesture“.

THE SMELL TEST – PART DEUX
We are now being told that Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab was listed on the terror database after his father. What still bothers me is the fact that we aren’t dealing with Joe Blow here but a very wealthy and important banking official who knew the score. He knew enough to go to the property authorities and warn him about his son. Seriously only a fool does not heed these warnings – unless there is one of three things.
1. Obama’s people are ignoring the treats to prove that George W. Bush was over the top when it comes to his battle against terror and are trying to make Bush look bad
2. There is no such thing as Islamic terror – just man made disasters
3. My third theory is more disgusting and more insidious. Let some sort of a disaster happen to take the conservative punditry’s collective mind off health care reform….?

We are now being told there are a half million people on the “watch” list. Fine. We’re living in the era of super computers. Are they attempting to fob the abject incompetence (or willing allowance) of the incident as just too many people on a list.
If there are a half mil people in a terror watch list doesn’t this indicate that we might just have a little problem with yahoos who want to destroy us and make trouble?
The Dems and the Obama Administration has been in trouble over health care reform. Evidently several days (Dec 21) before the incident occurred, Al Qaeda issued a threat against the US. Naturally, because the Obama Administration appears NOT to believe in terror, only “man made disasters” the threat may have been ignored. Not only did the threat threaten the Obama Administration’s view that there is no terror, but it may put a little kink in the whole Camp Gitmo thing.
Why is the Obama Administration appearing to ignore the terror threat?
Suppose they need a crises to bump health care reform off the front pages?
They sure got one?
Coincidence?
Rahm Emmanuel thinks that a no good crises should go un-exploited.
Is this a way to exploit “terror” Man Made Disasters, and win health care reform?
Of course we all know no reasonable individual would even consider the fact that the Obama Administration would even consider exploiting a situation for political gain that would result in the deaths of American citizens.
All of this leads to one major question – and my resounding answer is Y – E – S!
