Those Consistant Little Malkin-Based Cannards About Lindsey (and the GOP)

Michelle Malkin is part of the extreme far right, irrational all knowing, all powerful, Mean Girls.  You know the ones.  They think they are cute.  They are the “in-crowd” terrorizing the new girls.  They demand worship, obedience, and absolute domination.  They are the ultimate narcissists.  No one can have a thought, be independent, or disagree with them without being destroyed.

The Mean Girls now rule the conservative world.  Unfortunately there are adults in the country who disagree with them. Lindsey Graham is one of those adults – ergo – he must be destroyed.

Let’s start off with a NY Daily News version of the story.

“…The decision to hold the 9/11 terror trials in a lower Manhattan federal courtroom – and then, apparently, to move them elsewhere under a military tribunal – has showered all the combatants with political embarrassment. That would include President Obama, Attorney General Eric Holder, a fingerpointing White House staff, Republican opportunists, New York City officials and many in the city’s congressional delegation.

Except, perhaps, for South Carolina Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham, who appears to have forced the Obama administration into a big-time course correction in exchange for signing on to closing Guantanamo Bay, all the players come off diminished.

Mark down the date of March 5, 2010.  It is the day the Far Right will turn on Jim DeMint.  It is the day DeMint thumbed his nose at them and dared to defend Lindsey Graham.  Never mind that the two of them have worked together quite a bit.  DeMint is pure and Lindsey is evil.  Never mind they believe the same things (just about).

Is Michelle Malkin a John Bircher?  Evidently some of her anti-Lindsey talking points seem to be the same that Chuck Baldwin wrote for the John Birch Society a few years ago.  Strange, isn’t it?  Want to read the anti-Lindsey talking points?

“…The man that the vast majority of Christian conservatives voted for in South Carolina is a Big-Government neocon. He supported the bailout of the Wall Street banksters. He is a rabid supporter of granting amnesty and a pathway to citizenship for illegal aliens. In fact, this man has a conservative rating of only 29% in the current Freedom Index of the New American Magazine.

Why did Christian conservatives support the liberal neocon and not the solid pro-life conservative? Because the conservative ran as a Democrat and the neocon is a Republican. I’m talking about the race between Bob Conley and Lindsey Graham, of course.

Had South Carolina’s pastors, Christians, evangelicals, and pro-life conservatives voted for Bob Conley, he would be the new senator-elect from that state. In fact, Bob was so conservative that the Democratic leadership in South Carolina endorsed the Republican, Lindsey Graham! No matter. A majority of evangelical Christians in South Carolina stupidly rejected Bob Conley and voted for Graham….Again, it wasn’t Barack Obama who destroyed conservatism; it was George W. Bush, John McCain, and the millions of evangelical Christians who supported them. And until conservatives find their backbone and their convictions, they deserve to remain a burnt-out, has-been political force. They have no one to blame but themselves….”

Evidently the Far Right has become so irrational when it comes to attacking Lindsey over cap/trade that Jim DeMint is stepping in to put a stop to it.  (It is about time, and welcome to the battle).  In The Hill, DeMint said:

“…“I think he got a bad rap,” DeMint said when asked about the attacks on Graham back home. “There are a lot of people up here who are the problem, but it ain’t Lindsey Graham.” DeMint said Graham is a “great partner” in the Senate and one of the few people with “enough courage to stand up for things” such as tax and social security reform. On climate policy, DeMint said Graham is trying to “pull a few Democrats our way” to advance GOP policies on nuclear energy and oil drilling. “He isn’t going to vote for the House cap-and-trade bill. He’s trying to move things,” DeMint said. “He is a player and he makes a difference and I don’t expect people to agree with me all the time because I am not always right,” he added…”

Michelle Malkin hates Lindsey Graham.  Geraldo once said that the hate she was spreading against Lindsey was some of the worst he had ever encountered.  You can read her nasty little snit for yourself.  It is about hating Lindsey and hating John McCain, and hating anyone who DOES NOT AGREE with her version of what the world should be.

The following is not stopping Malkin from LYING about Lindsey. She, and her slobbering readers are so hate-filed one wonders if she isn’t a Ron Paul Bot, John Birch Society, tin-foil wearing, tea slurping person herself.  She can’t for the life of her tell the truth about Lindsey and cap/trade.

“…Graham himself has affirmed countless times that he will not support federal cap-and-trade legislation. His detractors, however, have painted him in a corner by ignoring that fact…”

To be honest here, conservatives are of two minds when it comes to Lindsey’s activities about Gitmo.  Andy McCarthy has been slamming him at the Corner all day on Friday.  The real problem here is Lindsey, like John McCain cannot do anything right.  For some strange reason the Far Right has people they love to hate.  It doesn’t matter what these people do, every little thing is going to be picked apart, the way McCarthy does.

Max Boot wrote:

“…Graham’s grand bargain seems like a good one to me. He recognizes that the key issue is not the future of Gitmo — one holding facility — but the overall method by which detainees will be processed, held, and if necessary, tried. We need binding rules, and the best way to achieve them is through bipartisan consensus — assuming the Supreme Court would go along. If I had my druthers, I would suggest the deal include special National Security Courts within the federal judicial system, rather than military commissions, to try detainees, but that’s a small matter compared to the importance of denying high-level terrorist suspects the normal protections of the criminal-justice system….”

Lindsey is now trying to do something rational about immigration.  Michelle Malkin is OWNED by the leftist extreme, genocidal, pro-abortion machine belonging to John Tanton’s Numbers USA, FAIR, etc. Because Lindsey Graham is John Tanton’s worst nightmare, he must be destroyed.  Malkin has become Tanton’s own little conservative face of really repulsive pro-abortion population control.

The far right does not like Hispanics.  They refuse to believe that there is discrimination and abject hate against Hispanics.  When Lindsey exposed really repulsive activities in South Carolina, Malkin struck, denigrating and belittling him.
