Anti-Immigration Extremists Attack Dick Armey

At least they are consistant.

The Pink Flamingo has been defending Lindsey Graham, George W. Bush, and John McCain from the anti-immigration extremes promoted by Numbers USA, Fair, etc. for several years.  You gotta love this one.  Now the Tea Party Princess Michelle Malkin is turning on Dick Armey because the PuppetMaster (John Tanton) has decreed Dick Armey is evil and must be destroyed.

You gotta love it – you just gotta love it!

According to Tea Party Princess and High Priestess, Dick Armey is now an Amnesty Stooge.

Mark Kirkorian, another John Tanton stooge is ticked because Dick Armey has brains enough to know you don’t alienate an entire group of people.  Then again, he’s not anti-Hispanic, not a bigot, and isn’t afraid of someone who grew up speaking Spanish.

Armey said the following:

“…”Who in the Republican Party was the genius who said now that we have identified the fastest-growing demographic in America, let’s go out and alienate them? This is a nation of immigrants. … There is room in America,” he said.

“When I was Republican leader, I saw to it that Tom Tancredo could not get on a stage because I saw how destructive he was,” Armey said of the anti-immigration former congressman. “Republicans have to get off this goofiness. Ronald Reagan said, ‘Tear down this wall.’ Tom Tancredo said ‘Build that wall.’ Who’s right? America is not a nation that builds walls. America is a nation that opens doors, and we should be that.”

Armey also predicted this latest conservative wave would not ebb like others he had lived through, starting with Barry “extremism in the defense of liberty is no vice” Goldwater’s run for president in 1964 through Ronald “morning in America” Reagan’s victory in 1980, Ross Perot’s failed third-party presidential bid in 1992 and the Republican takeover of Congress two years later on the strength of the Contract with America Armey helped author. He said the new movement, which is writing its own Contract From America, is the first powered by social networking and the Internet.

“This wave is not likely to ebb,” he said, noting that even if Republicans win control of one or both houses of Congress, these “normal, everyday Americans” will not lose momentum. “This wave is not going to allow some Republican who is soft on his commitment to our constitutional limitations on big government to get the [presidential] nomination” in 2012,” he said….”

Mark Kirkorian, like Michelle Malkin is a John Tanton stooge.

“...Dick Armey, the putative tribune of the Tea Partiers, has had sense enough up until now to keep his pro-amnesty, open-borders views to himself while helping rally grassroots opposition to the metastasizing state — though he and Grover have been working hard to keep immigration out of the Tea Party agenda (notice that the “Contract from America” doesn’t include anything on immigration or border security among the issues people are supposed to vote for). But Armey can’t help himself;…Anyone want to take a vote and see how many Tea Party activists agree with him? No, I didn’t think so. This despite the fact that immigration is the health of the state, boosting the clientele for the welfare state and racial set-asides, among other things, meaning there’s no way to restrain the growth of government, let alone shrink it, without reducing future immigration…..”

It also comes out of Numbers USA and another John Tanton stooge, Roy Beck.

“…Oppose 100,000 Marchers Supporting Illegal Alien Amnesties
100,000 supporters of illegal alien amnesties will descend upon Capitol Hill on Sunday March 21st. Their plan is to influence Congress into passing their open borders agenda later this year. Even though amnesty legislation has failed in Congress twice in the last three years, these amnesty enthusiasts are still persisting forward with a policy that will continue to harm more than 15 million unemployed Americans.

Although 100,000 people will be marching in support of amnesty, this is far fewer than the two-thirds of Americans who favor enforcing our immigration laws over granting amnesty rights. Please don’t delay. Send this critical message to your Senators today.
ROY BECK , NumbersUSA President…”

  1. Alert! Tell Washington that the pro-amnesty rally does not represent you… or most Americans!
