My parents have spent the week moving their things from storage – after 7 years. The downsized from 8500 square feet to maybe 3000. While they are renovating and adding on to their little house in the Hondo Valley, it is a mess. This week has been terribly hot and humid. I spent two days (8:30AM-Noon) supervising the movers here in town as they empited the storage units. Tuesday I limped home about 5:30 or so. Wednesday, it was 7:30 (and I crawled into bed, sleeping until 10:30, then up to do The Pink Flamingo). Thursday I had errends here in town. Friday I was down at their house until 7:30. Arrived home on Saturday around 7PM.
As I was leaving I noticed clouds building over the pasture next to their house. There are times when New Mexico is just plain beautiful. Now you know why!
