Did you know that some libertarians do not know the difference between a political aide and a paid political consultant?
Do you know the definition of a lie?
“…A lie (also called prevarication, falsehood) is a known untruth expressed as truth. A lie is a type of deception in the form of an untruthful statement, especially with the intention to deceive others, often with the further intention to maintain a secret or reputation, protect someone’s feelings or to avoid a punishment or repercussion for one’s actions. To lie is to state something that one knows to be false or that one does not honestly believe to be true with the intention that a person will take it for the truth. A liar is a person who is lying, who has previously lied, or who tends by nature to lie repeatedly – even when not necessary.
Lying is typically used to refer to deceptions in oral or written communication. Other forms of deception, such as disguises or forgeries, are generally not considered lies, though the underlying intent may be the same. However, even a true statement can be used to deceive. In this situation, it is the intent of being overall untruthful rather than the truthfulness of any individual statement that is considered the lie….”
For some strange reason libertarians must destroy Lindsey Graham. While there are those on the far right who are annoyed with him, conservative Republicans are REASONABLE enough to comprehend the fact that men and women have a right to their own thoughts. The problem with libertarians is the fact that they CANNOT ALLOW individual thought which does not conform to their strange world-view.
They talk a good game about freedom and the Constitution – as long as they call the shots. But – let someone deviate from their world-view and that person must be destroyed, especially if they are in politics.
They do not tell the whole truth.
They then attempt to destroy.
(And this is just the Pink Flamingo’s personal experience with today’s version of libertarian).
Libertarian Anthony G. Martin is one of those intellectually dishonest individuals who has been gifted with the libertarian ability to lie in order to destroy a good Republican.
I don’t care if losertarians dislike Lindsey, or anyone else. What I do care about is the fact that there appears to be a concerted effort on the part of libertarians, Ron Paul Bots, Glenn Beck, and the John Birchers, plus their brain dead Tea Party followers to lie about Lindsey. The Pink Flamingo has repeatedly documented their lies and half-truths.
Maybe we should start asking why are they lying about him?
What are they afraid of?
(other than honor, decency, honesty, military service, etc)
“…In a statement that should show the voters of South Carolina and the nation the rank elitism and snobbery of U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham, R-SC, an aide to the Senator stated on Friday, in response to attacks against Graham for voting in favor of Supreme Court nominee Elena Kagan, that Graham is ‘a thinking man’s conservative’ who appeals to those with ‘triple-digit IQs.’…”
Compounding the LIE Martin then wrote:
“…Graham’s appeal to ‘Christian charity’ has a distinct hollow ring when his own top aide essentially insulted most of the Senator’s constituents by insinuating they are not intelligent enough to support Graham’s dubious–and frankly, dangerous–voting record. Perhaps the aide to the Senator needs a jolting reality check. The problem for Graham is not that most of his constituents are lacking in adequate IQ but that most of them are smart enough to know when they are being fleeced, deceived, lied to, and duped by someone who poses as a conservative but votes for the most horrific Supreme Court nominee in history. Those who have recognized the Graham menace for what it is are the most intelligent of all, and it is Graham’s aide who obviously hasn’t been able to rise from the single-digit IQ of ‘idiot.’…”
The actual piece from the WPost was written on July 21! Martin used it to manipulate an article on August 7! The actual article by Chris Cillizza reads as follows:
“…Richard Quinn, a Graham consultant, defended his client — noting that the Senator is “not a demagogue”. Added Quinn: “He’s a thinking person’s conservative. I expect him to do well among voters with IQ’s in triple digits.”..”
If we are to give the libertrian Martin the benefit of the doubt, then he is indeed an ignorant fool. A POLITICAL CONSULTANT is not the same thing as a POLITICAL AIDE. It is a business. He is HIRED as a consultant – not a political aide.
This is one of his companies.
What part of “political consultant” doesn’t Mr. Martin comprehend?
“…The one strand of modern science that rivets Lindsey Graham is the public-opinion poll. Since his first Congressional race in 1994, Graham has employed the services of the South Carolina political consultant Richard Quinn. Quinn’s surveys now find Graham’s approval rating among Republicans at 64, which is 13 points lower than South Carolina’s far more conservative junior senator, Jim DeMint, but still quite high given Graham’s periodic defections from the conservative movement. When Graham takes on an issue, his seemingly off-the-cuff musings reflect his knowledge of Quinn’s data….”
This is the most recent record The Pink Flamingo could find listing Lindsey’s staff members. Please, do you see the name of Richard Quinn on it?
