The far right blogsphere is ablaze with the news that Teamster President Jimmy Hoffa has some less than complementary things to say about Barack Obama. So….. what? Herman Cain had the right idea. Is that all they have?
“…We got to keep an eye on the battle that we face: The war on workers. And you see it everywhere, it is the Tea Party. And you know, there is only one way to beat and win that war. The one thing about working people is we like a good fight. And you know what? They’ve got a war, they got a war with us and there’s only going to be one winner. It’s going to be the workers of Michigan, and America. We’re going to win that war,” Jimmy Hoffa Jr. said to a heavily union crowd.
“President Obama, this is your army. We are ready to march. Let’s take these son of bitches out and give America back to an America where we belong,” Hoffa added….”
How many people realize that Jimmy Hoffa was referencing a line from Independence Day? I gather he thinks the GOP is an alien invasion. Sorry, but that is just plain funny.
The only real mistake The Pink Flamingo sees is that Obama was there. It squarely made the event a campaign rally for Barack Obama. Before we get too upset about this, remember that every time GWB appeared at a military base it was almost a campaign stop, he was so well loved. That is the power of the presidency. To think that Obama is abusing it is simply living in a galaxy far far away.
The tea party thugs are demanding the union thug resign.
Shut up about it already yet!
Hoffa is a thug. We want him to act like the thug he is. Don’t silence him. Don’t demand he quit. Encourage him. There is a post on Frum Forum about the new unionization rules for small businesses. The Obama Administration has gone far too far this time.
Doug Ross thinks the union thugs are promoting violence. One might remind him about William Gheen, the “conservative” tea party anti-immigration thug who suggested the white race might want to start shooting people who support Obama.
Please, we want the unions to be as thuggish as possible. It’s like the tea party thugs. Let them be themselves. The more exposure they get, the more people dislike them.
Just let Jimmy Hoffa be Jimmy Hoffa. (Please note that The Pink Flamingo has not mentioned his father).
