The much praised Des Moines Register Poll is a total and complete crock. It is a total lie. Why? In the Cross-tabs of the poll, we find that 61% of those polled are male and only 39% are women. Women are far more likely to attend the caucuses than are men. There is something extremely dirty going on here, and The Pink Flamingo suspects it is to prop up both Ron Paul and Rick Santorum.
I’ve seen some dirty, rigged polls before, but this one takes the cake! When you consider that there are more women than men [Male: 1,508,319 (49.5%); Female: 1,538,036 (50.5%)]in the state by about a percentage point, right there, the poll is off! There is only one reason for such a poll, and that is to cook the books, literally! It appears as though polling could be very slanted towards men. There is only one reason for that – Ron Paul. PPP is polling 4 points higher male.
“…Selzer & Co. of Des Moines conducted the poll of 602 likely Republican caucusgoers, which has a margin of error of plus or minus 4 percentage points. In the final two days of polling, 302 likely caucusgoers were interviewed, with a margin of error of plus or minus 5.6 percentage points. Rounding out the field, in results from the full, four-day poll: former U.S. House Speaker Newt Gingrich, 12%, Texas Gov. Rick Perry, 11%, and Minnesota Congresswoman Michele Bachmann, 7%.
The first-in-the-nation Iowa caucuses, which take place Tuesday evening, kick off voting in the presidential nominating process. The Iowa Poll, a Register exclusive since 1943, is a much-watched indicator of how candidates are faring in the leadoff caucus state…”
Ron Paul’s supporters are overwhelmingly male.
