PART II: Political Issues – McCain 2008 Op Research

Share

There have been hints of this out there for ages. Tonight, via Legal Insurrection, comes the “official” John McCain 2008 opposition research on Mitt Romney. The Pink Flamingo has spent an hour on the phone, working with a source, who assures me this is the real thing. The person I spoke too even contributed to some of the information contained in the “book”.

Over the next few days, I’m going to be breaking this up into several articles. There are about 200 pages that will leave you doing the ‘oh my gosh’ thing. Judge for yourself.

We have until Saturday to stop the Romney “fix”.

  1. My British business partner (a Tory) who has called most of the national politics (yes, he even called McCain in 2008 as the GOP nominee)believes that all issues will be off the table. The only issue, he believes will drive people’s vote will be the economy.

The biggest problem with Romney isn’t if he’s conservative or liberal or anything in between…it’s if he’s seen as someone that will be better at this economy than Obama.

The entire Bain thing makes it very iffy because Independents want someone who will make the economy better for THEM NOT the 1% rich.

Mitt is looking too rich, too white, too the-boss.

Interesting…as I didn’t like him since he flipped on illegal immigration back in 2008 and of course now that I know he was all for impeaching the greatest president…

  2. You aren’t going to like the piece I’m working on about Mitt and immigration. I sure don’t. I’ll probably posting it Sat. morning. Tom Tancredo is supporting him. How vile is that?
