This Week in Racism & Stupidity

images(Once again it should be noted that The Pink Flamingo does not wish to insult members of the Mephitidae family by using images of them as the new mascot of the GOP.)

This week in far right racism….
Was the radio clown this week or last week?
Didn’t Rush think he was great, or something along that line?
Don’t I remember hearing about some Republican inviting him for a visit?
Why on earth does the far right think Obama hates white people?

Would someone care to attempt to explain what is going on in the far right?  Sure, there have been pockets of hidden racism, but now those hot pockets are being exposed, opened up, and expanded.  Suddenly, the tea parties, far right, conservative talk radio, and even some within the GOP sound like ding-bat extras at a KKK cocktail party.

Colorado Republican and state senator Vicki Marble is quite blond, in more ways than one.  The other day, during a public hearing, she claimed the reason blacks and Hispanics live in poverty is because they eat more chicken!  Yes, she said just that.

“…“When you look at life expectancy, there are problems in the black race: sickle-cell anemia is something that comes up, diabetes is something that’s prevalent in the genetic makeup and you just can’t help it,” Marble said. “Although I’ve got to say, I’ve never had better BBQ and better chicken and ate better in my life than when you go down south and you — I love it.”…”

The Republican genius also said that Mexicans ate only veggies in Mexico, but when they came to this country they stopped eating healthy.  Please explain how this is not racist?

Not to worry, in North Carolina, well, I’m glad I don’t live anywhere near there, anymore.

Then there is Paul Craig Cobb.  The man even looks like a degenerate. Contrast him with America’s newest hero. Well, he comes out looking like the filthy monster he is, and our newest hero looks like the beautiful Christian that she is.

In a little town in North Dakota, the little white supremacists want to move in and create a white people’s paradise.

“...It has long been a dream for white supremacists to set up a community devoid of any diversity, something just for them, with no one ‘inferior,’ ever. That doesn’t just mean skin color, but it also means political views, religion, etc. Paul Craig Cobb, a known white supremacist wanted in Canada for promoting hate, has zeroed in on the small, economically challenged town of Leith, snatching up whatever properties he can and encouraging fellow racists to come live there.

Over the course of the last year or so, Cobb has been able to purchase properties for next to nothing, including a house for $5,000. As he accumulates these properties, he either sells them at next to nothing to other racists, or donates them to racist organizations like the National Socialist Movement. The Southern Poverty Law Center has been digging around in the Grant County tax records, and found that several well-known white supremacists such as Tom Metzger and Alex Linder, both associated closely with viciously racist groups, have purchased properties from Cobb in Leith. The county tax officials acknowledge that there may also have been transactions between Cobb and others that were not recorded in the county record….”

According to the SPLC Cobb is starting to attract all his lovely little racist friends.

M. Catharine Evans thinks that Ebony Magazine has a war on white people.  Why?  They are featuring a cover with the Martin family on it.  Heaven forbid that anyone should mention that George Zimmerman managed to get away with murder.  If a white man shoots a black man, in cold blood, in the state of Florida, is it murder or just standing one’s ground? The American Thinker piece is even extreme for American Thinker.

Ron Paul is going to be speaking at a conference by the Society of Saint Pius X, which is considered extremely anti-Semitic.  He will be joined by John McManus of the John Birch Society.  That’s fine.  The John Birchers, those once fringe hate anything not approved by Fred Koch, have a history of racism.  They are also big time he-man woman haters.

Let’s not forget the Sovereign Citizens.

“…Hundreds of hours of conversation were recorded over the course of 30 meetings with the undercover officer, police said.

“We need to arrest the police and take them to our jail and put them in a cell and put them on trial in a people’s court,” Brutsche said on July 9, according to the arrest report. “If we run into the position that they resist, then we need to kill them.”

During a tour of gun stores the next day, Brutsche said that what they were planning was going to be big, “and that they would really get a large following once they started because of the publicity,” the report said. Police said that when Brutsche was arrested, he denied that police had authority to hold him.

Police identified Brutsche as a six-time convicted felon and child sex offender from California. Authorities did not detail a further criminal background for Newman.

In Louisiana last year, police linked a sovereign citizen group to shootout that left two deputies dead and two others wounded. At least some of the seven people arrested were identified as sovereign citizen members.

In Arkansas in 2010, a father and son identified as members of the group shot and killed two police officers before being killed by authorities in a separate shootout….”

All of this has basically pissed off Colin Powell, who basically let the governor of North Carolina have it.  Back in January, on Meet the Press, he said that there was a nasty little vein of racism within the GOP.  He was right then, and he still is.

“…I want to see policies that encourage every American to vote, not make it more difficult to vote… It immediately turns off a voting block the Republican Party needs …. These kinds of actions do not build on the base. It just turns people away… You can say what you like, but there is no voter fraud … How can it be widespread and undetected… What it really says to the minority voters is … We really are sort-of punishing you….”

I just thin, this week, the idiots have gone a little too wild.  Last week, Ken Emanuelson, a Texas Tea Partier said that the GOP doesn’t black people to vote if they are going to vote 90% Democrat.

And then there is Antoinette Tuff, America’s newest soon to be super-star.  The woman is the perfect embodiment of what a Christian should be.  She saved the young white man, mentally ill, from being gunned down by the cops.  And, she risked her life in the process.  Is there any greater example of what Christian love truly is?
