Henry Aaron, the greatest home run hitter in the history of baseball said it all the other day. The rabid GOP detractors and haters of Barack Obama are like the KKK. He was also wrong in that many of the GOP haters of Barack Obama are part of the KKK!
“…“We can talk about baseball. Talk about politics,” he continued. “Sure, this country has a black president, but when you look at a black president, President Obama is left with his foot stuck in the mud from all of the Republicans with the way he’s treated. We have moved in the right direction, and there have been improvements, but we still have a long ways to go in the country. “The bigger difference is that back then they had hoods. Now they have neckties and starched shirts.”…”
You want to prove that Hammerin’ Hank is right? In Iowa, Sam Clovis is running as a Republican for the US Senate. He says that Obama has not been impeached because he is black. Clovis has been endorsed by Eagle Forum, Citizen’s United, and Gun Owners of America.
Ron Paul is hand in glove with the Koch Brothers and the John Birch Society. His ghost author, Jack Hunter is a known racist. Then there is Ted Nugent.
Drew Turiano, from Montana filed to run for Congress in Montana. He has been declared too racist, even for the GOP there. Lee Bright, who is running against Lindsey, is being encouraged, shall we say, by some individuals who are associated with the Council of Conservative Citizens, who are closely associated with Stormfront, and associated with American Renaissance. They may not be wearing white sheets to the mall, but don’t worry, their ideals are the same. These people don’t like Lindsey because he says the GOP is having problems moving forward because of its racism.
Wisconsin governor, Scott Walker, was recently in hot water because emails by several of his aides were intensely racist. In Colorado, GOP State Senator Vicki Marble blamed fried chicken for the health problems of African Americans. Maine Gov. Paul LePage said that Barack Obama hates white people.
Minnesota Republican Rep. Pat Garofalo tweeted that 70% of the NBA teams could fold, and the only difference would be an increase of street crime.
Then there is a letter sent out by the Carbon County, Montana, GOP.
One of the reasons I can no longer be a part of the GOP is because of their unhinged and absolutely insane racism. Let’s be honest. Henry Aaron is 150% correct. It is all about the color of Barack Obama’s skin, nothing more and nothing less. And – these are just the highlights and lowlights of the GOP – thus far in 2014!
Please, explain why Henry Aaron is wrong.
