The Christian Koch War on Women

Screen Shot 2014-01-11 at 5.03.39 PM“…Besides the fact that the idea of a new heavens and new earth in which I as a woman will be eternally subordinate– perhaps to all males, but at least to my husband, my father, my father-in-law, my grandfather, my grandfather-in-law (and so on down to the roots of the family tree) smells a bit more of fire and brimstone than any self-respecting concept of eternal bliss really has any business smelling of– there are some serious logical flaws in this whole line of thought….”

American Enterprise Institute (a Koch Machine) scholar Charles Murray claimed, in a 2005 paper, that maybe one or two women had played significant roles in the field of philosophy.   Murray, who is an adviser to GOP candidate for governor in Texas, Greg Abbott, thinks that women are not significant thinkers.  The gender gap for wages is promote by liberals, yada yada yada.   According to Neal Bortz, female brains are simply inadequate.  Strangely enough (yea right) Republican women who are against equal pay legislation are paid by the Koch Machine.

Several weeks ago, a girl who attended a Christian school in Virginia ran afoul of the girly police.  Her crime – she is a tomboy.  Because she eschewed pink, dresses, and acted like a boy, she was declared a sinner, and asked to leave the school.  Her sin – sexual.  She is something like 7 years old.  How the H – E – Double-Toothpick a child is not living a Biblical Lifestyle because of gender identity is absurd.  Sunnie Kahlie is a tomboy. She likes having short hair, and being rough and ready with the boys. The 8 year old was recently kicked out of Timberlake Christian School, in Virginia, because she not sugar and spice. She was kicked out because it was said that the kids in the school didn’t know if she was a girl or a boy. Yes, the school officials are that much against girls showing any form of individualism. Oh, the good people at Timberlake are Bible believing Christians.

According to the letter sent to her grandmother, the child has been accused of sexual immorality and numerous sexual sins that violate the Bible. Why? She doesn’t want to wear dresses, and wants to play outside. That’s not up to Biblical standards. Why – God made her female. Her behavior and dress need to reflect the fact that she is female. She wears jeans and has short hair.  Evidently she won’t be attending one of those creepy emotional-incestuous purity balls any time soon.

Just what is a girl to wear to school? Well, according to a middle school in Evanston, Illinois, a girl is not to wear leggings. They are too distracting to boys. This is a public school. At Haven Middle School girls are not to wear shorts, leggins, or yoga pants because they might be distracting to the boys. In other words, they might cause the boys to look at them and have normal male urges. What’s worse, these are 12, 13, and 14 year old girls. What sort of sick, perverted school official looks on a teenage girl as a sex object? Once again we are seeing the implementation of the patriarchal world view – or are we seeing an idiot dress code that isn’t working? Women are nothing but sex objects, to be harassed, restricted, and prevented from showing any form of individuality. They must be taught a lesson – they belong in the home, learning how to be good little housewives, to submit to their godly husbands, and be abused. The principle, a woman, is trying to enforce a dress code. Why not just make kids wear a uniform? That would also solve little Sunnie Kahlie‘s problem.

Phyllis Schlafly is on record as saying feminists are at war with mother nature, because they are encouraging girls to enter endeavors that should primarily belong to men.  What one needs to understand is that the senile old bat was part of R. J. Rushdoony’s original group of religious zealots out to take-over the country and transform it into theonomy.  She also believes that equity in marriage, where men and women are equal, is putting the nation in danger.   This is echoed by the Council on Biblical Manhood and Womanhood, who endorse the heresy that male headship will continue into heaven.  Wives and children will be eternally submissive to their husbands and fathers.  There are even those who think, unless a woman has a child, she cannot achieve salvation.

Pastor Steven Anderson of Faithful Word Baptist Church in Arizona has told the women of his congregation that they are to shut up in church.  They can sing, but that’s it.  They can’t even say amen.  At the church Doug Phillips attends, women are not even allowed to go to the communion table.  The men of the church go forward, leaders of their families.  They then decide if their wives are worthy of communion.  If no man is present, a woman must wait, patiently, until some godly man thinks she is worthy of the Lord’s Supper.

The AEI, Neil Bortz, and the Koch Machine are simply reflecting what the far right is now being told about women.  It is something fairly new, nasty, insidious, and getting worse. Apparently, there is no end in sight.  A godly woman is to be submissive, told what to do by the man in her life, and must basically be ignorant, poorly educated, barefoot, and pregnant.  If so, she might, if her husband wills it, receive salvation.  In today’s patriarchal world, even within the SBC, a woman’s salvation depends upon the intercession of the men in her life.  She is no longer worthy of approaching the Lord on her own.  Her husband is now a High Priest, like God on High.

The big question – why are the Brothers Koch financing this?

  1. Why are the Libertarian Koch brothers financing the Tea Party war on women? Because Religous Right tea partiers. once elected, are the only one’s crazy enough to enact the Kochs’ Libertarian agenda:!lightbox%5B11%5D/2/

An example: Ted Cruz and Rand Paul at Religious Right pastors conference: plotting the governement shutdown in front of the Koch Citizens United logo:

“Paul Michael Weyrich (October 7, 1942 – December 18, 2008)[1][2][3][4] was an American religious conservative political activist and commentator, most notable as a figurehead of the New Right. He co-founded the conservative think tanks, the Heritage Foundation,[5] the Free Congress Foundation, and the American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC). He coined the term “moral majority”, the name of the political action group Moral Majority that he co-founded in 1979 with Jerry Falwell.”

“Taking Over the Republican Party – What happened between 1964 and 1994?”

“One member of the New Right, Republican Strategist Paul Weyrich, founded the Heritage Foundation in 1973 — a think tank to promote the ideas of the New Right. Weyrich also founded ALEC, The American Legislative Exchange Council in 1973 to coordinate the work of Religious Right state legislators. ALEC initially positioned itself as a counterweight to liberal foundations and think tanks, focusing on social issues like abortion and the Equal Rights Amendment, but became a magnet for corporate lobbyists.

ALEC gives business a direct hand in writing bills that are considered in state assemblies nationwide. Funded primarily by large corporations, industry groups, and conservative foundations — including R.J. Reynolds, Koch Industries, and the American Petroleum Institute — the group takes a chain-restaurant approach to public policy, supplying precooked McBills to state lawmakers. Since most legislators are in session only part of the year and often have no staff to do independent research, they’re quick to swallow what ALEC serves up. In 2000, according to the council, members introduced more than 3,100 bills based on its models, passing 450 into law. Ghostwriting the Law, Karen Olson, Mother Jones, Sept.Oct. 2002. In 1979 Weyrich coined the term “Moral Majority.” Their
goal was to politicize members of fundamentalist, Pentecostal and charismatic churches – a constituency that had been basically apolitical. ”

Paul Weyrich’s “New Right” Teaching Manual, enlisting Libertarians in the War on… well, all of us:

Paul “we Don’t Want Everybody to Vote” Weyrich, Moral Majority, Phyllis Schlafly circa 1982 (PFAW documentary): “Life and Liberty for All Who Beleive”:
Sound famiiar? That’s the Tea Party.

How else are you going to con working people into advocating AGAINST their own best interests? Tell them, “God said.”
