Frying John Kerry’s Canadian Bacon

Screen Shot 2015-02-10 at 2.03.30 AMBy now it is rather obvious the only entities in the civilized world who want to arm the Ukrainians are John Kerry and various and sundry politicians in the US who are bought and paid for by the Koch Machine. On Monday, it became quite obvious that Barack Obama has been getting his talking points from John Kerry, to the point where he appears to be completely out of touch with the rest of the Civilized World, which is basically controlled by Angela Merkel. She is rapidly trying to diffuse a situation John Kerry is making worse, primarily because of his own self-interests and the fact that he is the most incompetent Secretary of State in the past half century.

The dirty little secret is that the Russians are winning. We can’t allow that. I do hope it is because of Kerry’s incompetence and not the nasty male pissing contest between Vladimir Putin and Barack Obama. I am hoping that the personal dislike the two men have of one another is not fueling Obama’s decision to consider arming the Ukrainians. For the past year or so, the American media has followed, for the most part, lock-step, goose-stepping with Ukrainian Nazis, not even bothering to ask questions which really need to be asked.

Oh, wait. There are no Nazis in the Ukraine. That is a lie being spread by Russian propaganda operatives, determined to brainwash us all, so that we can allow Putin to conquer Europe. I repeat, there are no Nazis in the Ukraine, nor anywhere else in Europe – nor here in the US.

“…When some eastern Ukrainians mounted protests and occupied buildings – similar to what the western Ukrainians had done in Kiev before the coup – these protesters were denounced by the coup regime as “terrorists” and became the target of a punitive military campaign involving some of the same neo-Nazi militias that spearheaded the Feb. 22 coup against Yanukovych.

Nearly all the 5,000 or more people who have died in the civil war have been killed in eastern Ukraine with ethnic Russian civilians bearing the brunt of those fatalities, many killed by artillery barrages from the Ukrainian army firing into populated centers and using cluster-bomb munitions.

Even Human Rights Watch, which is largely financed by pro-coup billionaire George Soros, reported that “Ukrainian government forces used cluster munitions in populated areas in Donetsk city” despite the fact that “the use of cluster munitions in populated areas violates the laws of war due to the indiscriminate nature of the weapon and may amount to war crimes.”

Neo-Nazi and other “volunteer” brigades, dispatch by the Kiev regime, have also engaged in human rights violations, including death squad operations pulling people from their homes and executing them. Amnesty International, another human rights group that Soros helps fund and that has generally promoted Western interests in Eastern Europe, issued a report noting abuses committed by the pro-Kiev Aidar militia….”

Instead, we are being treated to an increasingly irrational approach to Russia, which reminds me of the Michael Moore movie, Canadian Bacon. Everything Russian is wrong? Putin has Asperger’s Syndrome? That was the latest, out of the Pentagon last week. It was designed to strike fear into the American populace. After all, Adam Lanza had Asperger’s and look at the innocent people he murdered.

“…Putting all of this together, it seems like another frustrating case of psychological diagnosis from a distance, causing all sorts of problems and solving none. We’ve seen this before, for example when psychologists were asked to comment on the mindset of Sandy Hook killer Adam Lanza, despite never even having met him. In these sorts of cases, we’re just being given pure conjecture, dressed up as convincing scientific knowledge. This sort of practice doesn’t offer any useful scientific insight into, well, anything, and it misrepresents how science works, and what good quality scientific research looks like.

In the “Putin has Asperger’s case”, there’s an additional problem – it plays into stigmatising myths about the disorder. Prof. Bishop points out “it seems like a clumsy attempt to discredit Putin, so that people don’t take him seriously. But in doing so it manages to upset people who genuinely have got Asperger’s and autism. People in these communities get very upset about this sort of stigma. It’s become almost a term of abuse to say that someone’s got Asperger’s” she adds….”

There are even reports that Ukraine shot down Malyasian Airlines Flight 17, but it is being ignored here in the US. But, that doesn’t fit into the narrative, which has been carefully created, over the past year, with the usual media sources refusing to even question the narrative.

“...But after the debacle in Afghanistan, Russia lacked the resources and will to repeat it. Nothing could hold back the rising tide of mass discontent in Europe, and barely six months later the Berlin Wall fell.

But Ukraine isn’t Afghanistan, and it is not Hungary. It’s where Russian civilization was born, as the medieval state Kievan Rus in the 10th century. For Russians, losing Kiev to Ukraine after the fall of the Soviet Union was a bit like Jews losing Jerusalem. Their toleration of a sovereign Ukraine after the collapse of the Soviet system was always conditional on Kiev taking orders from Moscow. As soon as that ended with the removal of President Viktor Yanukovych last year, so did its independence.

Russia will no sooner surrender to American-backed forces in Ukraine than we would surrender to a Russian-backed insurgency in Vermont. The situation is hardly analogous—unlike Vermont, Ukraine is a country—but from Vladimir Putin’s point of view it’s precisely analogous.

This is all about NATO expansion which scares the daylights out of the Russians. It shouldn’t, but it does, and it’s not hard to understand why. Just ask yourself how the British would feel if the USSR won the Cold War and the Warsaw Pact expanded to Paris and Brussels. London would feel like it’s “next.” London would have cause to feel like it’s “next.” That’s exactly how it looked from Moscow’s point of view when former vassals like Lithuania and Estonia joined up with Germany and France—and the United States….”

What is going on in the Ukraine is a civil war, primarily.  We have no business getting involved.  We have no business even being involved in economic sanctions – except for the fact that some of John Kerry’s cronies are getting rich off their new positions in the Ukraine.  Anyone who dares question what is going on with our approach is considered a Putin Apologist.

“….Though (Thomas) Friedman was writing from Zurich apparently without direct knowledge of what is happening in Ukraine, he wrote as if he were on the front lines: “Putin’s use of Russian troops wearing uniforms without insignia to invade Ukraine and to covertly buttress Ukrainian rebels bought and paid for by Moscow — all disguised by a web of lies that would have made Nazi propagandist Joseph Goebbels blush and all for the purpose of destroying Ukraine’s reform movement before it can create a democratic model that might appeal to Russians more than Putin’s kleptocracy — is the ugliest geopolitical mugging happening in the world today.

“Ukraine matters — more than the war in Iraq against the Islamic State, a.k.a., ISIS. It is still not clear that most of our allies in the war against ISIS share our values. That conflict has a big tribal and sectarian element. It is unmistakably clear, though, that Ukraine’s reformers in its newly elected government and Parliament — who are struggling to get free of Russia’s orbit and become part of the European Union’s market and democratic community — do share our values. If Putin the Thug gets away with crushing Ukraine’s new democratic experiment and unilaterally redrawing the borders of Europe, every pro-Western country around Russia will be in danger.”

If Friedman wished to show any balance – which he clearly didn’t – he might have noted that Goebbels would actually be quite proud of the fact that some of Hitler’s modern-day followers are at the forefront of the fight for Ukrainian “reform,” dispatched by those Kiev “reformers” to spearhead the nasty slaughter of ethnic Russians in eastern Ukraine.

But references to those inconvenient neo-Nazis, who also spearheaded the coup last February ousting President Yanukovych, are essentially verboten in the U.S. mainstream media. So, is any reference to the fact that eastern Ukrainians have legitimate grievances with the Kiev authorities who ousted Yanukovych who had been elected with strong support from eastern Ukraine.

But in the mainstream American “group think,” the people of eastern Ukraine are simply “bought and paid for by Moscow” – all the better to feel good about slaughtering them. [See’s “Seeing No Neo-Nazi Militias in Ukraine.”]…”

My father, and his generation fought against people like this.  It sickens me to see that our country, under the incompetent and possibly corrupt leadership of John Kerry, is now taking the side of the bad guys.  They are also ignoring the fact that, overwhelmingly, We the Little People are against arming the Ukrainians, and staying out of the Ukraine in general.  What we’ve done to the Russian economy is deplorable.  I can’t help but think that we’re going to end up paying a stiff economic price for doing so, one of these years.

I can’t help but think this is all about John Kerry and his plans to run for POTUS in 2016.
