Force of Political Habit.

Screen Shot 2015-05-14 at 12.31.01 AMYesterday, during the garage sale from hell, I realized I was standing around, talking to people about Lindsey.  I was just plain old politicking for him.  If he’s running, then you gotta do what you gotta do.  I’ve spent the past 21 years supporting him.  It is a force of habit.  I think I lined up 2 primary votes for him.  But, here in New Mexico, that’s basically a joke.  Our primary is so late, it comes after the balloon droop at the national convention.

Let’s be honest, he is the best person for the job.  This country would be so fortunate to have him as POTUS.  I keep having fantasies of this dream team ticket:  Graham – Warren.  They are the only two national leaders who are that honest and not political whores.

Lindsey’s biography is amazing.  He is literally the only leader we have had in years who is completely self-made. No one owns him.  He did everything on his own.  He doesn’t come from the rich, powerful, or well connected.  He grew up over a pool-hall in Central, SC.  I am so pleased that he is announcing in Central, in his own humble, self-deprecating way.  He understands what it is like to be overwhelmed with bills, family crises, and knows what it is to hurt.  After losing his parents, he and his younger sister made their home with his mother’s sister and her husband.  They were the dearest people, so full of love and kindness – just regular normal people.

There aren’t all that many normal, regular people in politics, not running for POTUS.  You won’t find a silver spoon, or even a stainless steel one with Lindsey.  He is where he is because of himself, with no sense of entitlement.  There’s no hereditary factor, no mission from God, just Lindsey doing what he thinks is right.

This nation should be so fortunate!
