Barack Obama is directly and indirectly responsible for the rise of ISIS because of his incompetence, delusional foreign policy, and his petty hatred of Vladimir Putin.
Many Bogey fans think that his greatest role was playing Lieutenant Commander Phillip Queeg in the Caine Mutiny. Aside from the fact that he should have won the Oscar for his performance, but lost to Marlon Brando for On the Waterfront. One of the great scenes of the film, which is one of the greatest movies ever made, was Queeg’s melt-down under pressure, and then during his court martial trial. Unfortunately, on Sunday night’s 60 Minutes, interview with Steve Croft, Barack Obama began channeling Queeg. His body language, when Croft began questioning him about Syria and Putin was quite telling. The man is close to having a breakdown.
I’m not one to bother with behind-the-scenes White House tell-alls. I’ve never bothered – and leave those to my mother. But, there are some interesting stories about the problems within the Obama Administration. I suspect we will be hearing all about it, in a couple years, when the book contracts are signed. Something is wrong not only within the Obama Administration but with the poor man, himself. I voted for him in 2012, losing friends in the process. One of the reasons I voted for him was due to his continuation of the foreign policy of George W. Bush. Then, Hillary resigned and John Kerry became Secretary of State. His second term has been a foreign policy disaster. We also must face the fact that the reason ISIS or ISIL exists is directly due to Obama’s incompetency in Iraq.
There are so many problems with this 2nd term, highlighting that old Second Term Curse. There is a complete breakdown in Middle East intel. Adding to the problem is the worst Secretary of Defense in my life time – Ash Carter. The man is a walking billboard of Constitutional violations, including the proposals to all journalists to be shot on sight, during a time of war. We have a mess in Syria. I’ve been writing about Obama’s Syria disaster for several years now. The reason we have such a mess in Syria is directly due to the fact that either Obama was incapable of acting or refused to act, and now Vladimir Putin is being required to pick up the pieces.
I wish I were a believer in conspiracy theories. The one I heard the other day was fascinating. If there is even a grain of truth in it, it sure explains why Obama allowed the lie that there were no WMD in Iraq to continue. According to Geoffrey Gilson, author of Maggie’s Hammer, former Iraqi military commanders were allowed, by the Obama Administration (or at least ignored by the same) to utilize the hidden WMD (which did not exist and Bush lied, about) to help form ISIS. Because of this, the Obama Administration, along with David Cameron, basically allowed ISIS to grow in power, in order to supplement the UK’s military industrial complex. (It should be noted that I’ve not read the book because I cannot afford to buy books right now).
The Obama Administration is openly supporting our enemies, Al-Qaeda, in order to take out ISIS, never mind the fact that there are rumors or fears the two are going to merge. Obama is so delusional in his foreign policy he would rather support the people who killed thousands of Americans, here on our own soil, rather than admit that Putin is a far superior leader. We now have a real mess, thanks to Kerry’s duplicity and Obama’s delusions, to the point where it appears the Saudis are now calling our foreign policy shots in the Middle East, and we’re on the verge of World War III – with Russia, who is doing what we should be doing. We’re supporting the bad guys, simply because Obama doesn’t like Putin. Instead of doing what is right, Obama is continuing to double down on his support of Islamists in Syria.
What we are watching is the tragic falling apart of a good man. Barack Obama has so much promise when he took office. Thanks to his inability to choose wisely, during this second term, he has ruined his legacy. We’re looking at the most disastrous foreign policy – ever. When you add the horror of the Trans Pacific Partnership, and the endgame of a total destruction of the freedom of the press, we have a disaster. That’s the last thing I want to see. There are times when I wonder if the poor man is even going to make it through his second term. He’s in trouble.
