‘The time has come,’ the walrus said, ‘to talk of many things: of shoes and ships – and sealing wax – of cabbages and kings.’
I don’t like quoting a pedophile, which is what Lewis Carroll allegedly was, but I like the line. It is time to discuss many things, including the fact that we are facing a horrible problem in this world, due, primarily because President Obama refused to work with Vladimir Putin. Obama’s poll numbers in this country are tanking because people are not buying into his plan of attack against ISIS. With the Administration’s refusal to recognize the genocide and ethnic cleansing of Christians in the Middle East and Africa, suddenly, a former communist and KGB officer is now the person who has positioned himself to be the champion of Christianity. It is ironic. If you believe in karma, oye…!
“...Indeed, ISIL warned Christians in a video, “You will not have safety, even in your dreams, until you embrace Islam.” Its militants or their affiliates have murdered or claimed credit for killing Christians in Syria, Nigeria, Iraq and Libya….”
One of the reasons we have this mess with ISIS is because dating back to the summer of 2014 when Barack Obama absolutely refused to do anything about the mess in Syria. ISIS could have been stopped in its tracks. Obama did nothing, other than insult Putin, and posture as our Secretary of State went around attempting to look urbane and sophisticated. Instead, they tell us that ISIS is not about Islam, which is a so-called ‘religion of peace’. Instead, it is a commentary about how badly George W. Bush treated people in Iraq. They don’t dare admit their duplicity, their stupidity, and their failure to act, at the right moment, to stop the horror before it began. They could not. In doing so, it would be admitting that Putin was right, and Barack Obama hates Vladimir Putin. His hatred is so petty and so pathological that he would rather risk World War III than to admit he is wrong. ISIS is about world domination for Islam.
“...We are misled in a second way, by a well-intentioned but dishonest campaign to deny the Islamic State’s medieval religious nature. ..Centuries have passed since the wars of religion ceased in Europe, and since men stopped dying in large numbers because of arcane theological disputes. Hence, perhaps, the incredulity and denial with which Westerners have greeted news of the theology and practices of the Islamic State. Many refuse to believe that this group is as devout as it claims to be, or as backward-looking or apocalyptic as its actions and statements suggest….”
Currently, I feel as though I will spend the remainder of my life attempting to atone for voting for Barack Obama in 2012. The reason I voted for him, has now been proven to be a lie. I voted for him because he was continuing George W. Bush’s highly successful foreign policy. In all actuality, he was doing just the opposite, and lying about it, recent disclosures from former members of his Administration have stated. I voted for a lie. I have no problem stating that I will always believe George W. Bush to be a great and honorable man. When he was in office, we did not have the human right’s debacle we have now, throughout Africa. Unlike the Obama Administration, he did not leave Christians to face genocide, then do nothing about it. Instead, it’s all about the racism.
“…This year, we’ve seen a Newsweek cover exclaiming, “The New Exodus: Christians Flee ISIS in the Middle East,” and a New York Times piece asking, “Is This the End of Christianity in the Middle East?” The progressive Center for American Progress noted in a March report, “Some of the oldest Christian communities in the world are disappearing in the very lands where their faith was born and first took root.”
One of the authors of that report, Brian Katulis, has joined forces with a diverse group of Christian leaders to urge the State Department to recognize what everyone else seems to see: There is an ongoing genocide against Middle Eastern Christians at the hands of radical jihadists…”
We are being constantly barraged with rhetoric about who is a Nazi and who is a racist. Donald Trump has not helped matters by opening his big fat mouth. The Democrats have a serious problem. Currently, Obama is on the brink of starting World War III, primarily with Russia.
“…But instead of acting as a commander in chief, Obama has become a polarizer in chief. Immediately after the Paris and San Bernardino attacks, both of which provided him an opportunity to reset his antiterrorism policies, he instead chose to find “wedge” issues that he could use to attack Republicans. After he was hounded by the press over downplaying the ISIS threat, he nimbly switched the subject to the GOP’s heartlessness on the question of taking in Syrian refugees, a counterpunch that drew substantial press coverage. In the immediate aftermath of the San Bernardino attacks, he downplayed the terrorist connections and amplified his call for additional gun control. Following the president’s lead, Senate Democrats then tried to put Republicans on the defensive over their fidelity to gun rights by voting to ban people on the no-fly list from purchasing guns. Agree or disagree with those policies, but both were a deliberate distraction from the urgent issue at hand—how to combat ISIS, at home and abroad. …”
If you think what is going on in the Middle East is bad, wait a couple years. India is on the cusp of a major religious civil war between the majority Hindu and the minority faiths especially Islam. I fear for my Muslim friends who are still living there. The slaughter of Christians and Muslims is already beginning in remote areas of the country. The followers of ISIS are sissies when it comes to Hindu extremists. What is coming is going to be horrific. I just wonder if my friends from Mumbai will be allowed to have refugee status here. They are going to need it. Oh, and the women of their family don’t wear headscarves except for worship. They are extremely well educated, doctors and scientists. They are also incredibly liberated.
“…But Muslims who call the Islamic State un-Islamic are typically, as the Princeton scholar Bernard Haykel, the leading expert on the group’s theology, told me, “embarrassed and politically correct, with a cotton-candy view of their own religion” that neglects “what their religion has historically and legally required.” Many denials of the Islamic State’s religious nature, he said, are rooted in an “interfaith-Christian-nonsense tradition.”…”
It suddenly dawned on me, how much of this war within Islam is socioeconomic? I don’t think we’re going to find the sons and daughters of the wealthy involved in grubbing for terrorists dollars or prostituting themselves for a cause. How much of what we are dealing with are the lower middle classes to lower classes?
If you look at Europe, there are very few class designations within the Islamic community. The newcomers and immigrants are basically economic immigrants. In the UK they are living below poverty. There, and everywhere else in Europe, they are refusing to assimilate into established cultures. They don’t have jobs, and are breeding like rabbits. Poorly educated, they are draining these economies of their wealth. They are turning to crime and extremism, ostensibly out of religious devotion, but it isn’t religious, it is all about money and status. They have neither. In their culture, where they have been brainwashed by illiterate clerics in equally as illiterate madrasas, they are incapable of surviving in a world that is not stuck in the 7th Century.
Want to stop the tide of refugees? Quit giving them housing, food stamps, free medical, and twenty-eight thousand bucks a year. In Germany, the newly arrived refugees are already being recruited by extremists. There is a Muslim Reform Movement trying to grow out of the insanity, but is receiving little publicity, anywhere.
Is it possible the reason the Dems are refusing to acknowledge the problems within Islam is because 70% of Muslims vote Democrat? I think that says it all. We have a mess. It is NOT racist to state that there are problems within a specific group of people. It is just fact. Currently, there are many young followers of Islam who are in the US and are a danger not only to the rest of us, but to themselves and their own families. Something needs to be done to help them, and to protect us. So much of this is about education, and somehow trying to keep these people from being brainwashed – and they are being brainwashed.
The saddest part of this all is watching Barack Obama fall apart, disintegrate, and watch his administration dissolve into chaos. It is one of the Great American Tragedies. The man had so much promise, yet he has destroyed it, and his legacy. If there is another terror attack in the US before the election, he will also destroy the Democrats.
Fortunately, in this country, Muslims have a better track record of assimilation than they do in Europe. This is to our advantage. The real problem is the fact that the left sees any criticism of potential problems as Islamophobia, when 90% of it isn’t. The left has no problem calling out white supremacists and damning them. Why not do the same with Islamic Supremacists who would harm not only themselves but our society. Is there any difference between the two groups?
