Just so you know, I love politics. I eat, sleep, breath, and live politics. I live for the silly season, for the primaries and then the election year. To me, 2016 is like a full year of Christmas Days, all year. It is politics. All is far in politics, like love and war. Don’t let the sore losers fool you. It is politics and nothing is too low, too dirty, and too nasty not to try – as long as you win and don’t get caught. Is this cynical? No. It’s politics. Anyone who begs everyone to keep it clean and lofty is either lying or delusional. It’s like this. Get a life, it’s only politics.
Bernie Sanders supporters want to disrupt The Donald’s Thursday night event in Vermont. On the surface I don’t have a bit of a problem. All’s fair. My problem though, is, while it is a heck of a lot of fun, it is also unfair to people who support the guy and want to go see him. It’s terribly selfish and narcissistic and extremely childish. You don’t get anywhere disrupting anything. Just look at #BlackLivesMatter. Most of us agree with a decent size portion of their agenda. The problem is the way they are going about that agenda. You don’t disrupt good, sincere people and not pay the price.
It’s silly. I seem to remember how annoyed Bernie supporters were when #BlackLivesMatter disrupted one of his events. It’s the same thing. I don’t care which candidate is being disrupted. Don’t do it.
