The Fine Line of Islamic Racism & Self Promotion

Screen Shot 2016-01-09 at 3.19.10 PMWhen Rose Hamid entered the Trump rally, she was told that if she attempted to disrupt the rally in any way, she would be ejected.  She and her activist husband were promptly removed when they became disruptive.

Last week,  activist Rose Hamid for refusing to follow the dress code about head scarves, was ejected from a Trump rally.  Allegedly, she was treated badly.  She was also allegedly wearing a yellow Star of David copied from the ones the Nazis made the Jews wear during the Holocaust.  What she was wearing was a Rub el Hizb, an 8 pointed star used in Islamic design.  No one said anything about the woman, nor asked her to leave until she stood up to silently ‘protest’ Trump’s alleged anti-Islamic racism.

I even thought she was wearing a Star of David.  It was designed to look like one.  Hamid is an activist.  She is also Palestinian.  The fact that she was wearing something that was to look like a Star of David, like the abomination the Nazis forced the Jews to wear is telling, and disgusting.

“...Yet it is worth noting that Hamid is Palestinian. This is not an insignificant detail when you consider that Holocaust denial is rampant in Gaza and the West Bank (and throughout much of the Arab-Muslim world). Let us remember that Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas wrote his Ph.D thesis on the connection between the Nazis and the Zionist Movement….”

The woman was there to gain fame and make trouble.  I have no problem with either aspiration, other than this was an event sponsored by Donald Trump and paid for by his campaign, for his followers.  I suspect, in order to get into the event she was required to lie about supporting him.  I have a very real problem with people who disrupt campaign events.  I find them rude, narcissistic, and self-serving.  If you look at the woman, along with others who were standing, it was obvious they were there to make trouble.  Yet, once again, the country is required to pander to the activists from a religion which is followed by ONLY 0.9% of the population of the United States.  Yes, I believe in minority rights, as in everyone having the very same rights.  But, progressives are going above and beyond, defending a religion which is NOT that peaceful.  Her intention was to disrupt.

What is even more interesting is that her husband was the one forcibly removed.  Even more interesting is the fact that Hamid is a Sanders supporter.  The entire incident was staged.  All she wanted to do was let people who had never met a Muslim to meet her and see how nice she was.

“…“I figured that most trump supporters probably never met a Muslim so I figured that I’d give them the opportunity to meet one,” she said. “People don’t have a chance to see anything other than the Muslims they see on TV,” Ms. Hamid added, saying images of Islamic extremists were misleading about her faith….”

According to one source, the organization Hamid founded, Muslim Women of the Carolinas, has or had ties to the Muslim Brotherhood, a terrorist organization. The link is tenuous, but, if I am going to be honest, and treat Hamid the same way I would treat a white supremacist, then have at it.  The design Hamid wore on her shoulder is similar to ones hard-line Islamists force Jews to wear.

Hamid and her husband, in order to gain entry, were asked if they planned to disrupt rally in any way. They lied and said they were not planning to do so. Over 5000 Trump supporters were turned away from the event so Sanders supporters like Hamid could lie their way into the rally and then make trouble afterward.  Quite frankly, I have a very real problem with any woman who wears a hijab.

The whole idea was for Rose Hamid, attention whore, to get more attention, which she did.  Like they are saying, she’s now the Dems poster child for anti-Islamic hatred and Trump’s bigotry against Muslims.  It will get her a special spot at the Democratic convention this summer.  People like Rose Hamid are not even about promoting a positive version of Islam.  They are all about promoting themselves.  I know her kind, well. I loath her kind well, no matter who they are.
