The Foul Staunch of Rank Progressive Hypocrisy

I gather, after reading various comments and articles, the lives of stupid, idiotic, white men who have nothing better to do than tote a gun and posture are not as valuable as other people.

What is truly disgusting is to realize that those people who pontificate about one for all, all for one, that sort of thing, demanding we all be equal, and celebrate ‘equality’ don’t give a damn when someone who isn’t part of their select little group is killed. They don’t quite grasp the concept that we are all the same, all worthy, with lives which should be valued and cherished.

We are told, repeatedly, that conservatives and those on the right don’t care about people because they don’t embrace progressive ideals.  What I experienced, during a thirty minute, on Twitter, on Wednesday morning, was tragic, and eye-opening. The very same people who will march, rally, and protest a police shooting of someone who is worthy of their notice, have no problem almost celebrating the death of a stupid militia person.

All lives matter.  It doesn’t matter what race or nationality they are.  It doesn’t matter if they are from the inner city or on some damn fool moronic quest to liberate land from the Feds.  Just because a person is stupid is no reason they should be shot and killed just for being stupid.  On the other hand, if they were firing at cops, then so be it.  You still don’t celebrate.  The same people who scream and yell when someone is shot by a cop, in a shoot-out or a situation where a cop can’t help it, think the shooting of an idiotic militia person is okay.

It isn’t.  Neither is the avoidable shooting of someone who is in a city, or on the highway, no matter who they are. There are times when cops are required to do what they do, and so be it.  We don’t curse or damn the cops.  That’s the problem.  It all depends on the mission of law enforcement, for some people, as to whether they should be treated like criminals, or allowed to go about their business.

I don’t want to have anything to do with the left.  Frankly, I like many progressive ideas, but I just can’t stomach their lack of humanity and basic human decency. The more I’m around them the more they begin to make Rush Limbaugh look like a humanitarian.  When one considers the contempt I have for the far right, that’s saying a heck of a lot.

I’ve never been more disgusted with a group of people in my entire life as I am as I write this.  That’s fairly bad considering the utter contempt I have for most conservatives.  I’ve never really seen conservatives almost celebrate the death of someone unless it was a truly evil individual.  The person shot by cops during a traffic stop in Oregon was not evil.  He was stupid, but not evil.  We don’t celebrate the death of stupid, or at least I don’t.

I watched the presser with the cops who had to shoot the idiot.  They were rattled.  Bad cops don’t care.  A good cop is going to be a wreck when they do something like that.  The average cop never shoots anyone, and rarely ever even fires a gun, their entire career.  You can tell when someone is a psychopath and enjoys the moment and when someone is truly upset.  These guys were truly upset.  They did not want to do what they did.  They were pushed into the situation by a group of idiots.

Bad things happen to good people all the time.  The real problem is when good people forget that things do happen, and allow themselves to be hardened by a situation or a cause, and are unable to look at the other side of the story.
