I was rather interested in an article about something Barack Obama said in 2008. Obama was quoting the 1987 movie, The Untouchables.
“…Mobster wisdom tells us never to bring a knife to a gun fight. But what does political wisdom say about bringing a gun to a knife fight?
That’s exactly what Barack Obama said he would do to counter Republican attacks “If they bring a knife to the fight, we bring a gun,” Obama said at a Philadelphia fundraiser Friday night. “Because from what I understand folks in Philly like a good brawl. I’ve seen Eagles fans.”…”
In the perverted and truly disturbed liberal way of thinking, I was called a racist, stupid, and did not know what a idiom was – FYI – I know an idiot when I see one. So, I’m the racist and stupid bigot because I (wrongly) assumed the people reading the comment would know the quote came from a movie. But, they were so ignorant they did not. I absolutely refused to be held responsible for the abjectly rancid ignorance of liberals. There are some who consider themselves so very intellectually superior to anyone who must obviously be a knuckle-dragger because they are Republican. Yet so very often these intellectually superior entities are the most culturally illiterate wretches I’ve encountered. You cannot discourse with them because they are so culturally illiterate. To cover their ignorance they call anyone with whom they disagree a racist.
Malone: You said you wanted to get Capone. Do you really wanna get him? You see what I’m saying is, what are you prepared to do?
Ness: Anything within the law.
Malone: And *then* what are you prepared to do? If you open the can on these worms you must be prepared to go all the way. Because they’re not gonna give up the fight, until one of you is dead.
Ness: I want to get Capone! I don’t know how to do it.
Malone: You wanna know how to get Capone? They pull a knife, you pull a gun. He sends one of yours to the hospital, you send one of his to the morgue. *That’s* the *Chicago* way! And that’s how you get Capone. Now do you want to do that? Are you ready to do that? I’m offering you a deal. Do you want this deal?
Ness: I have sworn to capture this man with all legal powers at my disposal and I will do so.
Malone: Well, the Lord hates a coward.
[jabs Ness with his hand, and Ness shakes it]
Malone: Do you know what a blood oath is, Mr. Ness?
Malone: Good, ’cause you just took one.
I am a racist, I gather, because the liberals who took offense that I would dare quote Barack Obama in how to deal with protesters in a campaign rally.
I don’t know about you, but I am getting sick and tired of being accused of being a racist because I dare to express an opinion contrary to their pathetic little world view. They call you a Nazi, a fascist, and then spew unimaginable filth. And – you don’t understand why decent and normal people are furious. I’m tired of it.
