The great ‘unsaid’ of this political season is the alleged possibility that Ted Cruz has had numerous affairs and numerous girlfriends. It is alleged that his phone number appears in the records of a certain former madam. It is all a heck of a lot of fun and means absolutely nothing. It does point to a rather interesting quid pro quo with Carly Fiorina. The fun and speculation now continues when Heidi Cruz stated that Ted is an immigrant. Surly the woman comprehends the implication of what she just did.
Obviously, she misspoke. Or… did she? The Cruz family body language is so awkward. It has been mentioned quite often, as has the fact that the little girls don’t seem to like him. Who could?
“...We have been unifying this party. Five of those 17 candidates have endorsed our campaign. And different parts of the party. We’ve been unifying fiscal conservatives. Evangelicals. Young people. Do you know that Ted has been winning the millennial vote in state after state? He’s been winning the women’s vote in state after state. Ted is an immigrant. He is Hispanic. He can unify this party. We have libertarians joining our cause. I have people everyday from the Democrat party telling that they have re-registered to vote for Ted as a Republican because they understand what he stands for and he represents American values….”
Did Heidi blunder, or is this her little way of twisting the knife and getting just a little piece of revenge against an allegedly philandering spouse? This wasn’t a blunder. This is revenge as dish being served cold. It means nothing, but it does cause a little problem for a floundering campaign.
