Hatred and Refusal to Forgive

If one must ask, then I’m doing something wrong.

I was accosted this evening on Twitter by a liberal who said I hated the Clintons and Obamas.  I told him I don’t hate.  I was informed that I must be full of hate because I’m supporting the party of the KKK.  Never mind the Grand Dragon of the KKK has endorsed and is openly campaigning for Hillary, and they’ve donated $40K to her campaign.  I told him if I don’t hate the monster who molested me as a child, why would I hate a politician.

I don’t hate.

I also don’t believe in not forgiving people or holding a grudge.  I don’t believe in destroying someone, politically, because they have a different agenda. That’s wrong.  You don’t smear and injure people because you dislike their political affiliation. It is counterproductive and just plain mean-spirited.

I don’t understand why people hate and why they refuse to forgive others.  It isn’t Christian.

As far as forgiveness, we’re taught, in the Lord’s Prayer, that we are forgiven as we forgive.

Yikes!

I’m tired of unkindness.
