Crying babies, bad moms, and Donald Trump have morphed into yet another theater of the absurd. On Tuesday, Trump basically invited a woman with a baby, who wouldn’t stop crying, to leave his speech.
Of course Tim Kaine immediately attacked. I told someone on Twitter if I’d not been planning to vote for Trump, him having the nerve to tell the woman to leave was enough to earn my vote. I suspect, once again, I’ll lose numerous followers.
Fine by me.
The other day I read an article about a mommy who is all upset because a theater manager told her to leave while she was nursing. If she had to nurse, the child was too young to be there. The woman is furious. Seems to me the people in the theater should be furious with her for ruining something they paid good money to see. They have just as many rights as does she.
Evidently women going to see Bad Moms are taking their babies with them – and getting kicked out of the movie!
If you can’t do the time then don’t have the kid. Parents need to realize that with the advent of a child comes basic responsibility. People have a right not to have your screaming, snot-nosed child inflicted on them. It is nothing more than a breakdown of manners and civility in an entitled society. There is a list of places that a baby and small child might be taken. A theater is not one of them.
