I never truly understood the disgust Henry VIII had for the Vatican, for refusing to abdicate its role in his matrimonial affairs until recently. When Jorge Mario Bergoglio became Pope Francis in 2013, I was a huge fan. I had a tremendous amount of respect for the man. I wish I still did. But, when I read about Roula and Malek Abo, I lost all respect for the man. Instead of keeping his word to Christian siblings, he chose to take Islamic refugees back to the Vatican. It was very much a signal that he was more concerned about the people of Islam than Christians. Instead, he says that we Christians who are not interested in helping refugees are hypocrites.
Now, in Modesto, officials from the Vatican are holding Social Justice discussions with illegal immigrants, CAIR, and a whole bunch of oooy gooy liberals who think that Donald Trump is evil.
“…”Do not classify others in order to see who is a neighbor and who is not,” the pope said in a letter that was also distributed. “You can become neighbor to whomever you meet in need, and you will do so if you have compassion in your heart.”
The pope said that he was not speaking of anyone in particular in pointing out people who scapegoat, but of a social and political process that flourishes around the world.
Trump’s name does not appear on the agenda, but his recent announcement of a crackdown on people illegally in the country and limitations on who is allowed into the U.S. are likely to be discussed by social justice activists and faith leaders….”
Up until I realized that the Pope was giving priority to Islam, and almost the cold shoulder to Christians, I was ready to consider becoming Catholic, once a few women things were solved. Forget it. Henry VIII was right. The pope needs to butt out of this country’s business. That’s bad enough. Now the new ECUSA Presiding Bishop Michael Curry is trying to out liberal the pope.
God Save Us from Social Justice!
Have you noticed that Social Justice Warriors never bother mentioning Wounded Warriors, homeless vets, or people here who are homeless?
