People Are Strange

Maybe the title should be Liberals Are Strange.  This current crop is.    I consider Bill Nye, who is a scientific deity to the left, to be a crackpot.  But, because he is the right kind of liberal, saying just the right things, he is considered almost sacred.

They say the fool who doesn’t know history is doomed to repeat it and make a total and complete ass of himself on national television the way Bill Nye did the other evening.  Quite obviously he was trying to make the statement that the Industrial Revolution, which he probably thinks began in 1750, is responsible for modern day climate change.

Tucker Carlson made the man look like the fool that he is.  When a person doesn’t know much about history, they should keep quiet.  Nye obviously doesn’t know much about history or he would not have referred, so glowingly, to the climate of 1750, especially in the UK.

Watt’s Up With That?

The climate of 1750 was beginning to change, due, primarily to a series of volcanic eruptions, that brought about the infamous Year Without A Summer in 1816.  The climate of the 1750s began to turn cold, with heavy winters, storms, and crop failures.  The crop failures were enough to bring famine to Europe, and to France.  When the Queen of France was told people were starving, legend says she suggested they eat cake – the black soot that lined chimneys.   She lost her head.

In short, the very years Nye pointed out to be so wonderful, and the perfect time for our changing world, were the beginning of a period of famine, cold, and eventual revolution, eventually culminating with the Napoleonic Wars and the deaths of upward of a million souls.

Bill Nye is a fool.  So are the people who hang on every word he says, because they ‘believe’ in science, and they have been fed this false narrative that he is the ‘science guy’.   He certainly doesn’t know much about history or he would have been required to admit that the reason the climate changed after 1750 was NOT due to human activity but volcanic.  But, like others of his ilk, he will never admit such a thing.  If so, he would be required to go back another few hundred years to the climate change of the Renaissance.  Then – he and others would be required to admit that our planet is returning to NORMAL warming.

We’re just one major volcanic eruption away from climactic catastrophe.  But, liberals can’t admit that one.  If so, then they will be forced to compromise and admit that climate change cannot be controlled.  They can’t use it for a socialist and globalist political issue.

Oh, darn.

Whose traditions are taught and practiced in the contemporary Christian denominations?

The first century Christians practiced the traditions of the apostles. (Acts 2:42 And they continued steadfastly in the apostles doctrine…NKJV)

Colossians 2:8 Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to Christ.(NKJV)

2 Thessalonians 2:15 Therefore brethren, stand fast and hold the traditions which you were taught, whether by word or our epistle. (NKJV)

Galatians 1:11-12 But I make known to you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached by me is not according to man. 12 For I neither received it from man, nor was I taught it, but it came through the revelation of Jesus Christ.(NKJV)

The apostles doctrine came directly from Jesus or through the Holy Spirit.
