Sunday Morning Opera: Chuck Berry RIP

No, it isn’t opera, but there are people which transcend any genera of music.  Chuck Berry was one of them.  Yesterday, he died at the age of ninety.   He was literally the first bad boy of rock and roll with stints in prison for armed robbery, transporting an underage girl over state lines, and tax evasion. He lived a troubled life, but his legacy is rock and roll, being one of the first inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1986.

My favorite:

It is so hard to believe he was the same generation as my parents.
