PART II: Tea, Parties, The Constitution, and That Pesky Thing Called Freedom

Share

The other night, The Pink Flamingo was watching one of the great American classics, To Kill a Mockingbird. For those ignorant wretches who have not seen the movie nor read the classic book, you have my pity. Atticus Finch (played by the late, great Gregory Peck) was the ultimate Southern attorney living in a small town. He understood that all men and women are equal, no matter what their color, nor their what was in their pocketbook.

When the haters could not crush Atticus Finch for going against their demands by defending a Black man innocent of the rape charges filed against him by a white trash woman, they tried to kill his children. There’s not much difference between the man who tried to kill the children of Atticus Finch and the tea party “patriots” who try killing the reputations and careers of good and honorable men and women who absolutely refuse to bend to their will.

What the Tea Party Really Believes?

Share

The Pink Flamingo is terrified of extremes. I see the growing extremism and irrational behavior of the tea parties as just that. It did not start out this way, but it is getting there. The very real problem is the fact that the people involved in the tea parties are failing to weigh the biased information they are receiving from their tin-plated gods like Glenn Beck.

If something is not done to put some of these people in check, and explain the facts of life to them, via American history, we are in for a very terrifying ride, abjectly terrifying. How long will it be before some idiotic tea party twit who is seriously unstable does something like what happened in India over the weekend?

Part V: How to Destroy the GOP – Idiot Libertarians & Birchers

Share

“…I’ve always said I was a Reagan-style conservative. But I don’t think Reagan was a real Republican. He just maintained some shared values….” Glenn Beck

Losertarians are crowing about the nomination of Nikki Haley in South Carolina. She is one of them. They love her. Makes sense. Then there is the idiocy in Idaho, where the Losertarians have taken over the GOP. They’re scary, demanding a repeal of the 17th Amendment.

Are the Tea Parties an off-shoot of the John Birch Society?

The Great Rand Paul Lies – Pre Maddox Interview

Share

The Pink Flamingo thought this might be fun to see what some of the pundits said about the Rand Paul victory. I have repeatedly said Rand Paul will blow a good GOP Senate seat. I continue to say that he will lose. The GOP needs to pull the plug on him.

David Frum wrote:

“..Rand Paul’s victory in the Kentucky Republican primary is obviously a depressing event for those who support strong national defense and rational conservative politics. In another year, such a victory would be a prelude to a Republican defeat in the general election….”

Rand Paul Should Withdraw From Race – IMMEDIATELY

Share

“…’I unequivocally state that I will not support any efforts to repeal the Civil Rights Act of 1964…we are sure to hear more wild, dishonest smears during this campaign,’ Paul campaign statement says…””…“A free society will abide unofficial, private discrimination,” wrote Paul, “even when that means allowing hate-filled groups to exclude people based on the color of their skin. It is unenlightened and ill-informed to promote discrimination against individuals based on the color of their skin. It is likewise unwise to forget the distinction between public (taxpayer-financed) and private entities.“…” Rand Paul

Like David Frum says, Ron Paul is going to hurt the GOP in November. Then again, that’s the whole point isn’t it?

Rand Paul MUST Return White Supremacist Money!

Share

Once upon a time the GOP soundly renounced David Duke. Too bad those days are over.

Unfortunately The Pink Flamingo can no longer support either Sarah Palin or Jim DeMint. I will support them when they renounce Rand Paul and demand he return the money he took from white supremacists. I do not understand how Sarah Palin, who claims to be so very pro-Israel and supports our military can endorse someone like Rand Paul who is, according to Pat Buchanan, one of them. He does not support Israel. He is against the “military industrial complex”, does not believe in fighting the war on terror, and wants to bring our troops home from Afghanistan and Iraq – immediately.

PART IV: How to Destroy the GOP

Share

Once upon a time, the GOP was the party of Ronald Reagan. Unfortunately, in the quest for libertarian purity, the ascendancy of Ron Paul, the Club for Growth, and absolutes, Ronald Reagan has been thrown under the bus and completely forgotten.

Reagan is dead, long live Ron Paul and Jim DeMint. It is now about egos and power. Forget doing what is right for the country, it is about a populist movement that is out of control, and a news network that is feeding it.

Perhaps it is all about keeping Barack Obama in power, for that is what is going to happen if the current trends continue.

Part III: How to Destroy the GOP

“…Ultimately, Rand Paul is a walking target for Democratic negative ads in a closely divided state with a culture of commitment to national security. But right now running the country – or even winning elections – is not a top-of-mind concern for many Republicans. They are voting to send a message, and it’s no time to be fussy about the background, competence, associations, and inner convictions of the messengers….” David Frum

The Pink Flamingo is waiting for the day when Republicans will garner the courage to oust the Ron Paul Bots and thumb our collective noses at the so called Tea Party “Patriots” many of whom are NOT Republicans.

The Pauls, Third Parties, DeMint’s Ambition, and Tea Party Spoilers

Share

The Ron Paul ego trip continues. In Iowa, his Bots managed to stage a small coup (the way they have done in SC, OK, UT, etc). Now they are promoting this idiot for POTUS.

“...Since the 2008 caucuses, no potential presidential candidate has visited Iowa more than Ron Paul. With a friendlier SCC, a tailor made political environment, and a wealth of knowledge from his previous run, Ron Paul could be a force to be reckoned with in the 2012 Iowa caucuses.

Extreme Far Right Lunitics Trying to Run the Show

Share

The far right Tea Party “patriots” have turned on Sarah Palin because she has endorsed Carly Fiorina. Fiorina is NOT good enough for the Tea Party people. Evidently they are finally showing their true colors. They are bullies! If their childish demands are not met, they will destroy. So, their long knives are out for Palin.

If they continue on their current path, they are going to do serious damage to the GOP in November. Someone needs to explain to the far right media that the tea parties are NOT about conservative – they are about promoting LOSERTARIANS.

Is ALIPAC’s William Gheen a Bigoted Bully & Closet White Supremacist?

Share

The extreme far right is getting downright nasty. Hugh Hewitt is now trying to decide who should and should not be a Republican. Rudy Giuliani has stepped in it by endorsing Trey Grayson over Ron Paul’s heir. Someone needs to warn Rudy that Ron Paul Bots are vile, lying pieces of human debris who are one and the same with the John Birch Society. They will do or say anything to get their way.

Spending, Leadership, Sacred Cows, Third Rails & Hating Lindsey Graham

Share

The Pink Flamingo has been following the libertarian, losertarian and far right attacks on Lindsey for some time. This is more of the connect the dots. When in doubt, trace 90% of the attacks on him back to losertarians and Ron Paul Bots.

FOX has been making mischief again:

“…So when a Fox News story Thursday cited “senior administration sources” as labeling and criticizing an expected carbon fee on the transportation sector as a Graham-sponsored 15-cent-per-gallon gas tax, the reaction from both Graham and the White House was swift.

Tea Party Problems

Share

Beware the Tea Parties:

“...Overall, three out of four tea party attendees said they were “scared about the direction” of the country and “want to send a message to both political parties.” ..”

So far Michael Medved appears to be the only rational conservative who admits that there are some serious problems within the Tea Parties, primarily with some nut cases.

According to the Politico, the group is dividing into the Palin Camp and the Ron Paul (Bot) Camp.

The Non-Narcissistic GOP

Share

Did you know that a group who does not have an actual leader is ripe for a narcissist to step up and take over as the leader.

“...A study published in the journal Personality and Social Psychology Bulletin suggests that when a group is without a leader, you can often count on a narcissist to take charge. Researchers found that people who score high in narcissism tend to take control of leaderless groups….”

This has absolutely fascinating implications for the GOP and says something rather damning about the Dems! It also does not speak well for losertarians and their Ron Paul fixation. Let’s just be honest that the face of narcissism is Ron Paul!

Ron Paul’s 2012 POTUS Run OR Did Newt Actually Win SLRC Straw Poll?

Share

Over a month ago The Pink Flamingo told you that Ron Paul was planning to disrupt the SRLC and hijack the straw poll. Ironically, he and his supporters did not count on Romney’s supporters being even more crafty. If you want to know the interesting facts behind the poll, check the 2nd choice. Paul is way out of it! The Romney people and Ron Paul Bots made a mess of things, but could not hide the 2nd choice – which goes to Newt!

“…Some reports from New Orleans indicate heavy, coordinated lobbying on behalf of the Paul and Romney campaigns. I don’t doubt it; we saw the same thing at the recent CPAC meetings on behalf of Paul, who brought a lot of motivated young people out to support him. So it’s interesting to look at the secondary preferences because, presumably, strategic supporters of Romney and Paul would know better than to cast their second-choice votes for the other guy.

Is Ron Paul the GOP Face of Pork?

Share

It is about time!

The GOP has threatened to remove Ron Paul from all committee assignments because of his earmarks! What is so much fun is how the losertarian Ron Paul Bots are complaining.

“…Yes, this conflicts with libertarian ideology in part, but not in the whole. I don’t think almost any attention should be paid to the ridiculous earmark issue, which accounts for around 1% of the federal budget. But to the extent there is attention, Paul is correct. No earmark affects total appropriations. And failing to earmark does leave appropriations up to the federal government and the related executive agencies to determine where the money goes. You can see a list of Paul’s earmark requests here.
