Huck Slams CPAC & the Far Right!

The Republican Party is currently under vicious assault from libertarians, losertarians, Ron Paul Bots, John Birchers, Democrats, and FOX News.  As of this writing, The Pink Flamingo is more discouraged today about the prospects of the GOP than in a long time. If the current trends prevail, the losertarian Ron Paul Bot wing of the idiot brigade is going to ruin things so badly, a Dem victory in November is all but assured.
Very few Republicans have the courage to stand up against this libertaraian assault that, for some strange reason, appears to be enabled via FOX News.  Those who do …Read the Rest

Beware the Word “LIBERTY” & Ron Paul Bots & Tea Party Purity

Word has come down from on high that the great bastion of liberty, Ron Paul, has won the CPAC straw poll.  Bully for him. Alex Keppler thinks CPAC was ‘invaded by loons‘.  I agree 1000%!  The way CPAC has degenerated this year, does it amount to a hill of beans …Read the Rest

The Great Big CPAC Scam

2010 will go down as the year the far right threw both Ronald Reagan and William F. Buckley under the bus, by bowing down to pander to the Tea Party “patriots” and the likes of the John Birch Society.   It is also be remembered as the year the Ron Paul …Read the Rest

Fun & Games With Ron Paul Bots

Way much fun.
It could be possible that NORMAL Republicans such as The Pink Flamingo are starting to fight back against the extremes.  When the John Birch Society is part of CPAC, we need to change a few things.
“…When the John Birch Society announced that it would be co-sponsoring CPAC, its …Read the Rest

Political Lemonade

Political Lemonade

Crossing fingers and saying prayers for Scott Brown. If he can pull it off, and it is looking better than ever, it will be because of MODERATE INDEPENDENTS. Conservatives are working like crazy for him, but there are some third party Losertarians who are holding strong with their conscience.

Please, pass the cool, tart, slightly sweet, perfect political lemonade. Enjoy every drop of it.

No one has a better grasp on the political picture of the country today than Michael Medved, who is the only 100% PURE Republican radio show host. He is pragmatic enough to understand that conservatives cannot win an election. Liberals cannot win an election. The greatest majority of voters are independent – and moderate.

The Conservative Double Standard: Lindsey Graham & Sarah Palin

The Pink Flamingo wants to make a prediction. In six months, Sarah Palin, the darling of the Tea Party “patriots” will be the far right’s public enemy #2, right up there with Lindsey.

Why?

She is showing her true – VERY RED – colors!

Sarah Palin is making money off the whole thing. She is not doing this for charity. And – now that the idiots are realizing that they must pay speakers, the you know what that drops out of the rear of Alaskan carribou is about ready to hit the fan.

“…The Tea Party convention, for one, is charging $549 per person for the event—no doubt to pay for Palin’s speaking fee, reportedly as high as $100,000—which has left some supporters queasy about the entire production. “This is the beginning of the end of it as a ground-up movement. Let the co-optation begin,” writes one pro–Tea Party blogger. The buckracking echoes the arrival of groups like the Tea Party Express, which used the name of the grassroots insurrection to raise funds for a longstanding Republican political action committee. As Stephanie Mencimer has reported, such developments have led to major clashes with groups like the “Tea Party Patriots,” who’ve adhered to the anti-establishment, grassroots ethos that originally founded the movement…”

The Pink Flamingo is loving every minute of it.

Why?

The Pink Flamingo has been right about Sarah Palin all along (thank heavens) and she is not a far right fringe third party idiot. She is a Republican. Praise the Lord!

Palin Thumbs Nose at CPAC While McCain Seen as Leader of the GOP

Who knew that John McCain would be seen as the leader of the GOP in this Tea Party “patriot” era? A new Harris Poll points to the fact that perhaps things aren’t as extreme as the Far Right and the Ron Paul Bots would like one to think it is.

“..Other Republican leaders who are viewed by many people as influential and as leading voices in the party include former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh, former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney, former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee, McCain’s vice presidential running mate and former governor of Alaska Sarah Palin, and former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani. These six Republicans, all of whom would probably like to be the next Republican presidential candidate, are seen as about as influential as each other. But more people see Palin and Limbaugh as leading voices of the party, and Palin scores more highly among Republicans….”

Interestingly, this is not a “inside” conservative thing, but a general poll. There are those who think the “tea party movement” is going to become to the GOP what MoveOn.org is to the DNC. If so, we have a problem. MoveOn has done more to push the DNC farther left than anything we could possibly imagine. If the “tea party movement” decides to do the same thing with the GOP, we will be in serious trouble. Even Ron Paul appears to be throwing the Tea Party “patriots” under the bus.

How Can You Take the Right Seriously When….

The Far Right has a serious problem. They are out of control, over-run by abject stupidity and perhaps even more than a little “hate”. Republicans are stupid. The reason Republicans are stupid is because they are honest, trusting, and honorable. That’s Republican, not the Far Right. The Far Right is no different from the Far Left. They are extreme hate-filled, irrational losers who are determined to make everyone else as miserable and pathetic as are they.

They are becoming so pointed in their hate that they are no longer even bothering to hide their lies about our good Republican officials. When you have people like Glenn Beck calling the shots, going out of his way to destroy any Republican who dares call him to task for his lies then there is a problem.

The Pink Flamingo wishes she believed in conspiracy theories. If so, my favorite would be the possibility that the far right and the tea party freaks are funded by the DNC. How else can you explain their irrational LOSER hatred and insanity? How else can you explain their suicidal decision to go for conservative purity in the GOP, thus empowering Nancy Peolosi, Harry Reid, and Barack Obama and destroy our country?

Patriots – I think not!

Could we possibly be honest here? Nah, we’re dealing with the far, irrational Right. They dumped honesty when they dumped Reagan.

Why I Detest Non-Republican Conservatives

Conservatives are for sale – NOT THE GOP.
Would someone please explain to far right conservatives there is a difference between them and the GOP?
Would someone please tell me the logic of damning the GOP for the actions of the ACU, without reporting that the Politico could be making trouble?  I’m …Read the Rest

The New American Pastime – Smearing Sarah Palin

The Obama Administration is into rewarding people who denigrate good Republicans like Sarah Palin.  On Wednesday evening, Bill O’Reilly said that Sarah Palin had been rendered ineffective by the Left’s attacks on her.  Funny way of putting it, but then again, O’Reilly is still feelin’ that Obama Tingle as he …Read the Rest

Why CPAC Conservatives Are (Usually) Jerks

From what I gather this year’s CPAC was nothing but a platform to do everything possible to slam George W. Bush.
From the UPI:
“…Former President George W. Bush also had little support. Several speakers, including former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, R-Ga., linked him to Obama, Politico reported.
Romney criticized Bush for failing …Read the Rest

Conservatives Need a Make-Over, Pedicure, and Manicure!

On Saturday, Rush Limbaugh said the following at CPAC:
“…”We conservatives have not done a good enough job of just laying out basically who we are because we make the mistake of assuming that people know. What they know is largely incorrect, based on the way we’re portrayed in pop culture, …Read the Rest

Palin and CPAC

With their usual charity and grace, our friends on the left are trying to make a huge issue out of Sarah Palin not attending CPAC, but instead, sending a taped message.  Much is being made of her decision not to attend.
Alaska is in the middle of a legislative session.  She …Read the Rest
