PART II: Tea, Parties, The Constitution, and That Pesky Thing Called Freedom
The other night, The Pink Flamingo was watching one of the great American classics, To Kill a Mockingbird. For those ignorant wretches who have not seen the movie nor read the classic book, you have my pity. Atticus Finch (played by the late, great Gregory Peck) was the ultimate Southern attorney living in a small town. He understood that all men and women are equal, no matter what their color, nor their what was in their pocketbook.
When the haters could not crush Atticus Finch for going against their demands by defending a Black man innocent of the rape charges filed against him by a white trash woman, they tried to kill his children. There’s not much difference between the man who tried to kill the children of Atticus Finch and the tea party “patriots” who try killing the reputations and careers of good and honorable men and women who absolutely refuse to bend to their will.
Part V: How to Destroy the GOP – Idiot Libertarians & Birchers
“…I’ve always said I was a Reagan-style conservative. But I don’t think Reagan was a real Republican. He just maintained some shared values….” Glenn Beck
Losertarians are crowing about the nomination of Nikki Haley in South Carolina. She is one of them. They love her. Makes sense. Then there is the idiocy in Idaho, where the Losertarians have taken over the GOP. They’re scary, demanding a repeal of the 17th Amendment.
Are the Tea Parties an off-shoot of the John Birch Society?
Annoying Tea Partiers the World Over!

One thing you gotta love about liberals is their way to out-manouver the right every time. During a long weekend when we need to be going after Obama, they decided to offer up Lindsey for the far right to crucify with their usual far right class. Few conservatives have the courage to admit that Lindsey is right. But then again, the whole idea is to spend the weekend beating up on Lindsey Graham rather than Barack Obama.
The Han Solo of the US Senate (or) The Last Reagan Republican
A few weekends ago The Pink Flamingo made the mistake of watching a Star Wars marathon on television. Please accept my apologies for the analogy.
When Princess Leia remarked that Han Solo “certainly was brave”, Luke wanted to know what good it would do if he got himself killed. When it comes to bravery, Lindsey is brave – because he knows how to be a statesman. In the age of the Tea Party “patriots” who are basically little more than losertarian shills for the likes of the Pauls, and a few other losertarians, anyone who dares step out of line.
They’re doomed!

Perhaps We Need More Ethinc Studies, Not Less

“…While I have supported black studies programs and as a trustee, one must really ask whether the demand for a completely autonomous is not in reality a request for sanctuary from the rigors of the institution, a sanctuary from the normal standards? If that is what it is then what in reality, will these students have when they leave the institution, what will they have learned, and will they be able to compete in the outside world. On the other hand, it is possible that you can justify a black studies program on its symbolic value alone. But an all black studies department would not be useful. What we really should do is get some whites into the black studies department to learn something about black people. …” Ronald Reagan!
There are very few times when I disagree with Michael Medved. This is one of them. The other day he was discussing ethnic studies. Rightly he does not actually approve of them. Neither do I in their current form, but the Pink Flamingo thinks one of the very real problems we are facing as a nation is the fact that we Americans have become so insular that we expect cultures to adapt to us. We need not learn anything about others. Once upon a time it was called “The Ugly American”. Today we call it conservative.

Is The Club For Growth Too Powerful

If Ronald Reagan were in office today, he would be a primary target of the Club for Growth. Is is someone who would not be conservative enough and pure enough for them.
Is the Club for Growth a front for the DNC? It is just a gag question, but the way they destroy good Republicans is serious.
That Pesky Brown Menace
Did you know that only Hispanics are dangerous racists? That is the lie currently being promoted by the far right. They absolutely refuse to acknowledge the racist mote in their own eye. Take Patrick J. Buchanan, please. (NOTE: The Pink Flamingo does not like linking to World Nut Daily. I will list the URL and you go find it.
“…Indeed, of the last seven justices nominated by Democrats JFK, LBJ, Bill Clinton and Barack Obama, one was black, Marshall; one was Puerto Rican, Sonia Sotomayor. The other five were Jews: Arthur Goldberg, Abe Fortas, Ruth Bader Ginsberg, Stephen Breyer and Elena Kagan.
If Kagan is confirmed, Jews, who represent less than 2 percent of the U.S. population, will have 33 percent of the Supreme Court seats.
How to Destroy the GOP
In Kentucky, the latest polling puts Rand Paul ahead of Trey Grayson in the primary, but Grayson would defeat the Democrat candidates handily. Paul would barely squeek by if he were to win at all. Rand Paul is a sure fire way for the GOP to lose a Republican held Senate seat. The Pink Flamingo WOULD NOT vote for Rand Paul. I would not vote for the Dem, but I sure WOULD NOT vote for Rand Paul. Only 19% of people in KY see themselves as “Tea Party”. Let’s just hope Kentucky goes the way of Indiana and the Tea Party candidate gets squashed.
Lindsey Graham on Democrat Grandstanding on Immigration
“…”To the Hispanic community – if you bring a bill up now, it’s going to go down,” Graham said after the hearing. “You won’t get 40 votes because nobody can go back home and justify that the system is fixed when we know it’s not.”…” Lindsey Graham
Once again Lindsey has put himself into the cross-hairs, this time with the Dems, for simply being Lindsey and doing what is right.
Barack Obama is attempting (as usual) to subdivide the country along racial lines, trying to ratchet up Hispanic anger against the GOP to get votes in November.
The Non-Narcissistic GOP
Did you know that a group who does not have an actual leader is ripe for a narcissist to step up and take over as the leader.
“...A study published in the journal Personality and Social Psychology Bulletin suggests that when a group is without a leader, you can often count on a narcissist to take charge. Researchers found that people who score high in narcissism tend to take control of leaderless groups….”
This has absolutely fascinating implications for the GOP and says something rather damning about the Dems! It also does not speak well for losertarians and their Ron Paul fixation. Let’s just be honest that the face of narcissism is Ron Paul!
