Life is tacky. Deal with it!

Years ago, back in the late 1970s and early 1980s there was a considerable amount of talk about cults. All anyone could talk about

Unfortunately The Pink Flamingo can no longer support either Sarah Palin or Jim DeMint. I will support them when they renounce Rand Paul and demand he return the money he took from white supremacists. I do not understand how Sarah Palin, who claims to be so very pro-Israel and supports our military can endorse someone like Rand Paul who is, according to Pat Buchanan, one of them. He does not support Israel. He is against the “military industrial complex”, does not believe in fighting the war on terror, and wants to bring our troops home from Afghanistan and Iraq – immediately.

Read MoreIn November of 2007 the Greenville County GOP censured Lindsey for not scraping and bowing to their every desire. Last week the Charleston County GOP followed suit.
South Carolina is the most Republican state in the country. Lindsey Graham is the Senior United States Senator.
Lindsey is a Republican.
He is being attacked by a group called the American Energy Alliance, which employs attractive and bright former GOP staffers to make it look like the whole attack is the Republican Party turning on Lindsey Graham.
South Carolina is very important to the GOP.
It is a bell-weather state.
What happens in SC in the GOP will eventually happen throughout the country.
What happens when there is a harmonic convergence of Tea Party “patriots?”, Stormfront, the CofCC, American Renaissance, Losertarian Blogs, The Charleston County GOP, “Big Oil”, Ron Paul, Ron Paul Bots, and the brain dead far right, all determined to destroy a good man? The Far Right falls for the lies, hook, line, sinker, and canard, spewing them out gleefully, never bothering to fact check, only vomiting up hate and lies.
SC’s strange, “losertarian” blog, FTS, is joyfully announcing how Lindsey is being trounced in alleged polls, never bothering to link to them. Not to worry, the same thing happened in 2008 when the Greenville County GOP held a straw poll and all the little anti-Lindsey racists showed up to vote. In 2007, the CofCC was so sure they could stir up enough hate, that they held their national conference in Greenville. They partied and did the conference thing with their “sister” organization, Stormfront.
Speakers included Jared Taylor, etc.
“…In April 2007, Taylor delivered a lecture entitled, “Multiculturalism and Racial Diversity: Strength or Weakness?” at Clemson University in South Carolina. A student group, the Clemson Conservatives, had invited him and he spoke to a group of students, faculty, and members of the public. During the lecture, Taylor implied that international hostility directed at the United States is due to the country’s current racial diversity. He also said, “It is a mistake to assume it is wrong to prefer the company of people similar to oneself… It is universal, and I think there’s every reason to believe there are innate biological reasons… In [the] United States, this kind of preference… is recognized and encouraged and institutionalized so long as the people who are expressing this preference are not white.”…”
A LITTLE HEALTHY PARANOIA
Read MoreFor some strange reason, when you tell numerous lies about a person, you end up hating the person you lie about. It is quite obvious this is what has happened to Lindsey. The far right, prompted by Rush Limbaugh, Michelle Malkin, and Laura Ingraham have told so many lies about Lindsey that the only way they can justify their mis-treatment of him is to turn him into an object of hatred.
I think they are starting to do the same thing to Newt Gingrich.
Something very nasty is going on with the conservative universe. Evidently someone doesn’t like Lindsey Graham and will literally do and say anything to destroy him. Doesn’t matter if it isn’t true. Doesn’t matter what they say. Lindsey Graham is evil and must be destroyed.
This is all getting old and very nasty. It is getting vicious, mean-spirited, and downright unpatriotic. If you march lock-step to what certain individuals desire, you are to be destroyed.
There is no different between the Democrat Hate Machine and the Conservative Hate Machine – just the names and faces. The methods are the same. They will do ANYTHING to destroy those who have been marked for elimination.
It would be interesting to see who first put the “conservative” hit out on Lindsey. I suspect it was John Tanton. I know that Michelle Malkin is in on it. The nastiness she spreads – and has spread about Lindsey was the cause of her dismissal from FOX News awhile back. She and Geraldo went to war over the disgusting illustrations she promoted. I suspect Lindsey has come rather close to the truth about this bunch of Malkin’s little friends.
Read MoreThe old fashioned, true believer Libertarians I’ve known appear to have absolutely nothing to do with the “conservative” Ron Paul version of Libertarian. Old fashioned Libertarians were left-over hippies, former stoners, and were all about the legalization of marijuana. Some were very pro gun. Then there were the anti-military former Dems who felt the Democratic party was no longer liberal enough.
It was not about culture. It was not about Ron Paul. It was not about “the Constitution”. They were not about denigrating various politician. It was all about NOT being involved, not getting one’s political act together, and tilting at wind-mills. Their cause was romantic. They had a few good ideas, but a true Libertarian is so akin to an anarchist that the very act of attending a political meeting, a national convention, or actively promoting a candidate or agenda is simply not possible.
Any resemblance to the intolerant, bigoted (politically bigoted) bunch of lying, Ron Paul loving, Glenn Beck swilling, Robert Stacy McCain holier than thou sore-heads some of whom are advocating the violent overthrow of various elected officials who don’t agree with their extremism, is purely coincidental. They are now reaching the point where some of them are advocating a second revolution, civil war, and the actual lynching of politicians who do not agree to their emotional black-mail, both Democrats and Republicans.
