If you are an opera freak like I am, tomorrow is Christmas, New Year’s Eve, Fourth of July, and a birthday all wrapped up in gold and and red with imaginative chandeliers that resemble satellites. I don’t mind admitting, this year, I don’t approach it with my usual happiness. Let’s face it. We are living in the year the music died. My heart is still breaking. We’ve lost two of the greatest voices of the ages. I still cry over it.
These are voices that have been forever silenced. If I’ve not managed to get over the loss of John Denver, well, put it in perspective. I still can’t listen to him without crying.
My heart is breaking – still.
I hate cancer.
